Tom has hinted that his Indian might be the best route for going back to RKS... I think HTC will explore that.. aswell as other options.
I think outcrossing the HTC skunk would have alot of potential, to what, who knows.. I just hope some of us find what we have been after for so long.

BM- 5 posts above ya...i was talkin to kindbudkid....he asked if you were using the htc skunk in the cross when you just said what the cross was 5 posts above him lol....sorry i didn't get any pics of the thunderskunks but if you check out dimebags outdoor thread from last yr he grew some impressive thunderskunks i sent him....actually now that i think of it he just posted a few pics of it in this thread a couple pages back lol.

bub...i got 2 packs of the northern indian also from mr hill....i think i'm gonna take them indian males and cross them to some females i have that are real close to RKS...i'm pretty sure i'll have a couple versions of RKS in 08.....i got the base of my projects now it's just time for selections...it's gonna be a blast to go through all these beans.

outcrossing the htc skunk ibl does have alot of potential....not sure if it's RKS potential though but you never do know...maybe mixed with a true afghan,true kush or the indians the outcross could produce some very skunky phenos.....the crosses i have made with the htc skunk have been very nice for outdoors around here...the kodiak gold x htc skunk was a nice one since they are both ibl's....i'd say DC is a better strain then the kg so i'm thinking that the shunk would be a real nice one.

here's a pheno of the thunderskunks i made...dimebag gets the credit for the pics and report...i'm actually curious what he thinks of the long cured version since all mine was gone in a couple weeks lol

i have some pictures of a thunderskunk pheno i grew out, im sure someone else could fill you in on this strain alot more if they want to

the particular pheno i grew out was a very light pleasant hitting smoke. 2 weeks into cure it was immeadiately a favorite morning smoke, great cerebrel high, left you feeling lifted. I will be sampling this strain again after a 6 month cure, 2 months with tops being popped 4 months sealed in mason jars.

i have been away for 6 months, so i will be able to give a nice report on 2 weeks cured, vs 6 months, i will have a 10 strain like up ill probly do in the smoke report but anyways moving on to some pictures of the thunderskunk!!

lancet...if those 2 beans are infact the old superskunk that was around this area that would be the shit....both are probably females if it is cause the guy only ran clones...just depends what clone pollinated the SS...hopefully it was just another SS...i think the guy that ran the SS for them yrs only ran that and maybe another strain...so odds would be good...good luck and keep me posted forsure.

MM....don't give up on them beans for a month...sometimes them old ones are stubborn as hell but will eventually go...take a razor and slightly cut the bean at the seam but don't go deep...try that as a last option when you have nothin to lose...its worked for me before with 20-30 yr old beans.

this is the closest i've gotten to RKS . it's not just skunky ... it has those (as fjallhoga said ) rancid terpenes that really make it true skunk . it's funny though . i've mentioned it before in this thread and most people carry on with thier own agenda like i didn't even post anything .... ah well it's y'all that are missing the RKS . eh?

have any one heard of a strain called pussy. its suppose to be killer.its a strain out of ky that is a strong skunk that's been passed around from generation to generation.
when grown and early harvest it smells strong skunk overtone.then when curing is over it smells like a skunky wet pussy.and onother thing is that you can get layed when smoking with a women who loves her weed and knows good bud.i thought it was some grower who just feeds some skunk strain with a lot of fish emulsion and dont flush.but my cousin sayes its the strain and that its grown outdoors.

maybe that is the pure roadkill look, but i dont think so. the roadkill variety i have has been pegged by sam as an afghani cross most likely. much more indica. but like i said i dont have the pure so i cant be sure.

hello guys,

i never smoked any 'roadkill' skunk in my smoker life but i always keep on eye on this pretty interesting thread because of the smoke description by the oldtimer's who got the chance to smoke some back in the days it was widely avaible.

after smoking 100's of 'classic' skunk buds i understand the 'sweet' part of the breeding story..today skunk's aren't putrid or agressive in smell/taste..it's more of a sweetie flavorfull smoke..at least for me.

soo..i was reading a thread yesterday where Mr Tom Hill sayed something that can be of interest for everyone :
