When things seem as to be to good to be true they usually aren't. I have grown my share of RKS from 88-91. I wished there were digital camera's back then as I would post a pic.

I really do find it laughable that after days of peeps asking for proof, nothing has appeared. Hopefully when something does it's not some "grainy" veg shot.

IMHO
the cerebral effect of the true roadkill was quite "kush like"..
AS if one of the parents were a 60/40 indica sativa hindu kush...
which would make it around 20% sativa..
In my best "etmated guess from street education" the roadkill should be truebreding indica variety...
Which leads me to the other conclusion I have come to. Laws of inheritance also come into play here. In dec/jan through febuary.. The roadkill would get around 25% black.. 1/4 of the nugs would be these dark blackish purple golfballs.
Back to the "Kahuna pheno" anyone know more about this!...
Which village from afghanistan the P came from would be a godsend for a re-creation.
AS I stated so far im close to the right plant phenotype....
But im not after that as much as "the funk".

THIS IS NOT RKS
It is an experiment on the trail of RKS and really only had the funk in the first few weeks of veg... But she does look about as close as anything I have seen in 20 years or so..
And should be a treat regardless, She has a visible resin coat on budleaves equal to it's P "g-13 mutant"...If not more visible...

hhf- why are you always a hater? you've been hating on rks since day one because you think skunk#1 is the greatest....everytime someone talks about something they got or what they are working on you have to come in and talk smack.....once again you don't read threads before you post...firegod never once talked about selling seeds....actually if you read that all he talks about is giving them away for free.....how could you possibly miss it?

he's got a few pics in his gallery, there's some labeled rks on the 1st page and then on his last page there's one titled cali bush skunk.....people need to give people chances before they jump on them and assume....maybe he's full of it maybe he's not....time will tell.

I know i'm tired of seeing the fighting and the BS in all the RKS threads. It's really getting old. We are here for one thing and one thing only. Find these seeds or cuts and getting them to everyone. Not this BS flaming contest. This thread was doing great and then came the same old shit. I hope this thread gets back on track.

I heard a story long time ago how this guy who made the "fallbrook roadkill" version of skunk was killed for his crop..
By crop rippers.. That's why it disappeared.
Sam wasn't anywhere near the fallbrook skunk as far as i know..
You are all so so mislead.
The only way to find true fallbrook kill is to get a handed down version someone sandbagged, or make it...
It was at MOST 20 percent sativa and the max height was around five to six foot... more like four usually..
Skunk #1 has nothing to do with roadkill. Nothing....It's sativa dom for christs sake....RKS wasn't...not fallbrook RKS anyways...Sam didn't make it and the guy who did is dead...killed for his crop. By greedy bastards...
And ya wonder why people sandbag this strain?

Firegod...I for one would appreciate it if you would stop using the CAPS so much, you may be here with great intentions but your posting style is rather brash.

And it would also be nice if you would edit earlier posts if you forgot to mention something rather than posting multiple posts back to back... there was a string of them(your posts)a few pages back in all CAPS and smiley emotes that was an assult on the eyes, some seem more like stoned ramblings than coherent thought. And it makes it very hard for at least me to take you seriously...

I´ve grown some in the past and smoked a fair amount of the Afghani.The last I saw was in a friend´s indoor,a couple weks ago....it was almost ready...the smell was "fecal",very strong and nasty...

no connection in my mind Raco.......tended hundreds of AFG#1 in the eighties and saw nothin' that came close.....

thanks for the pics FG as the second pic's leaf looks familiar, but the RKS I tended was no bigger than golf ball size flowers....those appear to be some nice full foot longs...........maybe a hybrid of while retaining the skank..........prolly best off to self as this will tell whats behind her........

"fallbrook roadkill" circa 1980....
Would begin to flower outdoors in spring or fall at two to three weeks old from seeds popping.
No sativa dom would do this....
Only indica, or indica/ruderalis.
I grew THE STRAIN of ruderalis which came from the russian steppes, a highly coveted heirloom "variable yet decent potency" ruderalis..
If sprouted in jan feb in san diego county she would finish by may oudoors.
A VERY SKUNKY STINKY SMELL WOULD FILL AN APARTMENT...To the point of paranoia.
FRom a ruderalis , or ruderalis phenotype from an indica X.
ONE three foot tall bud as big around as my arm.

AS far as the content of atmosphere here at the RKS Fan Club thread I am with T2U and GDW. Let the gubment have der wars. And Bigbluedog's right about gunsmiths..go and visit their boards, and they help each other no matter what. We are all fans of RKS, skunk, and mj in general. If not, we wouldn't be posting on here. Hey if Firegod has the RKS, then that's awesome! Hey the man's excited, and we should all be if he has truly has it. And I think we are all excited in that we can find the true skunk. The ALL CAPITALS thing is a little overboard, maybe he could tone it down by writing in lower case. If FG's RKS is not exactly what we are looking for, we could use it to breed with. In any way think positive about it, don't write it off, as it's too early to tell. If TieDye420 has it or something similar, then we should be happy too. Or if anyone has something or knows what type of strain may be possible...it would be a great thing.

As far as the skunk I know, tiedye420 and Sierran description is the one I know. The buds were golf ball sized and round. They were dark green, fluffy, monotone, & hairless. These buds were so fluffy, that 1/4 oz bags looked like 1/2oz, or 1/2oz bags weighed looked like a full ounce. The buzz was very indica like and heavy. I smoked so much onetime, I couldn't move, heart pounding, thinking I was going to be the 1st to die from THC overdose. The previous summer I smoked brick 24/7, and nothing felt like this. I am thinking it is at least 80% indica. Maybe (indica x sativa) x indica)...and maybe crossed to an indica once more. Or it might have been (indica x 50/50 hybrid) x indica. It may have been a old Shiva/afghan/NL cross. It maybe an old school NL/Skunk/Afghan. It may be an afghan/hindu/hashplant with a tiny touch of sativa thrown into it, and then backcrossed back to another indica hybrid? But after it's original breeding, it was then inbred until it was a pure breeding strain.

I was thinking something of how the Haze variety was created(Colombian x Mexican x Thai x South Indian). How a different sativa father was crossed into the existing Haze each year. What if the origin of RKS was similar to this? Taking his/her original skunk and then taking the skunkiest smelling father to breed with it to make seeds? I have heard of many ways to pick a good male to breed, and one of the ways was to pick the skunkiest smelling male even if it was a sativa, or an indica, or a sativa/indica hybrid. And then each of the following years you keep breeding with a different skunkier male until you have a rancid super skunk.

I was such of fan of this type of bud, I named my handle from it. If I could only have one strain for the rest of my life, it would be this one. I still think it would be a good idea to keep a list of some skunk smelling plants that you may think may have some RKS breeding potential.I think we should keep a list of strains here on this thread and update it with a variety you feel would help create RKS. Everyone here on this thread mentioned a variety in some way or another. I think if we would put our heads together and stop arguing(pissing contest), we may be able to create something special. In the end we could call it ICMAG Skunk aka RKS aka The True aka True Skunk aka The Truth.

I remenber when I first started growing. i showed my sister my SK#1 she was older than I and new some old school growers. She said this si'nt like the skunk bud I've seen. Ya what ever! Any how turns out my brother in laws brother, had been growing for 15 yrs at that point. 1988. His Afghan strains turned out to be the REAL deal. Awesome, best pot I've seen to this day! Ofcourse I traded for some of the seed, but have since lost it. And so has the grower. So if any of you looking at this are out of the Perry Michigan area and have some of your moms or dads Affie or ghani from back in the day. PM me we need to talk.. You'll know it by the seeds BIG GRAY chest nuts or BIG GRAY and STRIPED...
