I have a theory on road kill skunk weed. I have had tons of it as well as everyone else even today. Good weed smells like road kill skunk outside of the bag but when you open the bag and smell it, you are smelling the other complex smells and the skunk doesn't shine as much sort of speak. but put a couple buds of any good weed in a sandwich bag and leave it in your car for a while. Go out to your car and open the door, bam roadkill skunk smell.

Tried and true bro .

Its a different kind of plastic . Not as permeable to odour .

You could quadruple bag with the wrong kind of plastic and still smell it . 1 layer of that oven bag plastic is enough .

Thanks for sharin

as a person who has stored and stockpiled and moved a lot of herb around in mass in places where the scent is not an option at all. not even a tiny tiny bit. those oven bags dont do shit, while i usually love your posts i must chime in here. i dont care how many oven bags you use. if you put 25 pounds in double triple turkey bags in an olive barrel and open it a week later it wreaks.
however, i dont care what kind of smoke you have,
if i put in a vaccum sealed
freezer bag (maunal seal manual seal!!! dont actually crush your herb) change gloves do it again. and again and again 4x in total. you could transport it in a duffel bag in a space capsule full of k9's and no one would be the wiser. you'd be up shit creek in 4 oven bags.
4 freezer bags and itll be scent free in the airtight bunker for as long as ive ever stored one. over a year. once found a five pack i forgot that ddint fit in a load. well over a year later found it the storage unit where i used to package, it was pricey back then too. outdoor i was still gettning close to 3 on the hill. i was bummed but the shit didnt stink. still contained. wreaked inside the bag still, but it didnt have even a faint scent in the bin i foud them packed in. a neighbors "trainwreck" from seed all brown and gross but still wreaked in the bag once we tore it open. not even a lil tiny smell outside the bag before i opened it. ive never had a strain that couldnt be contained by 4 freezer bags treated as though each layer is radioactive.i could literally mail you a dead skunk and it wouldnt stink. trust me. id say you can hide it fairly reliably from human noses with maybe one but 2 is fine, if dogs are involved id say 4 but ive only seen it tested with a bunch of layers. twice in fact. both times no signal. knock on wood for anecdotal facts.lol.

Just a thought. Any chance that all the lead from gasoline in the air caused the roadkill? Seems alot of the legendary hard to find phenotype are from before unleaded gas.

Not only this but...

Catalytic converters remove much sulfur from exhaust.
I was reading a while back that farms are realizing low sulfur numbers in their soil tests.

SULFUR... being a main component in aromas...

It's the terps, and possibly envirmental factors, but, I don't buy outside influences could marry with the smells of plant. Its like that story about KK SC, originally grown so long near strawberries, the line picked up the strawberry smells; just fables.

All it would have to to is trigger a chain reaction. I add nasty smelling things to my soil and water and get great tasty herb. Can't see why a ton of lead and sulfur in the air wouldn't effect it. I'd be more surprised to learn otherwise.

Back in the OG days, there were a lot of ppl thinking they can flavor bud by feeding plants Kool-Aide, thankfully though, most ppl realized/knew that was malarkey. Same with this... You can make natural terpene expressions more prominent, but, you can't change a plants aroma to, say, orange, by giving them orange juice, doesn't work like that. If you can prove otherwise though, would love to see (although don't know how you could online). :)

There is no way lead in the air caused a strain to smell a certain way. skunkman sam found the genetics, the hybrid, and it stank like fuck.

Yes Sam made the Skunky skunk as he calls it. He is about the most interesting guy I have read about on the web. He has been at it for a very long time, imagine the knowledge he has. I am sure he wouldn't have been a part in the "Pharmaceutical " end for Sativex and the cure for Cancer if he was one of us laymen.

It's funny how he uses the old lingo still like loaded. I don't think everybody understands what that means, if you are loaded you have reached maximum couch lock status. Some of us like to feel that way but I also know some people that don't like that feeling.

Well context means a lot here .
I was talkin about putting it in a bag to carry it . Not put multiple pounds in storage for periods of time .

Also your vac seal will still be detectable by hounds . The plastic is permeable . Maybe not initially . But store it for a while and the odours will find their way out .

These measures are to foil human noses .Not dogs. Dogs are 1000s of times more sensitive .

I watched Barry Cooper explain how it works ...

Thanks for sharin
