The Road to Guerilla Success and High yields

I'm growing Malawi in NZ, I use rain crystals outdoors over here and have never had a plant die on me from drought.

Protection is a must over here because of our possum population, they love Marijuana.
I usually have 2 plants per plot with 1m netting tied out to trees and gorse. Gorse is good to grow in because no wandering people like walking through it along with animals.

I totally agree with you that growing in smaller numbers gets better results and is far easier to manage, guerilla growing is hard work!.

Lots of Nz growers have had the main stems of their plants snapped from high winds this year. Malawi seems to be extremely weather proof and healthy - best vegatative plant I've ever grown, amazing branching system too.

Hey frank n stein what r your thoughts of some low height better yielding autos n s. Texas? Strain wise I ask? Want to start em off with a t5 which iam trying to trade a 1k watter for n have em out by end of reb.....

Then i helped each one find their grow sites with a single plant at each site. At each of the planting sites, we dug a hole 30"X14" deep(double dig). We filled each hole with 3 bags of Fox farms Ocean forest soil at a cost of 60 bucks. The 5 holes cost both guys 300$ and both were crying over the expense. They both had a total cost of less than 400$

Hey moondawg, Are saying that the ocean Forrest soil had enough nutes in it to run the plants a FULL season without adding any additional nutes and produced plants that big?

I figured for sure they by august they would be turning yellow from lack of food. Ive used ocean forrect in the past, but I also used the FF liquid trio along with it and had decent results, but if the soil alone will get them through the season and finish HEALTHY then this would be amazing and will make for a MUCH easier season.. Hard to fee liquid ferts when it rains all summer any way.

For Guerrillas I can recommend the use of autos, in quick and out quick, many with a low smell low profile, for arid/desert growers I've seen many use air mattress's as an under ground water tank, activated via a solar timer or cell phone, also perimeter defense to a mobile/ cell phone, get your cheap pre paid phones to do the work for you, amazing the amount of gadgets you can attach these days

Don't forget old graveyards have great soil, for some reason ...lol

Any auto will do the trick for you. You can even grow some of the longer flowering auto's if your in texas. Pandora from paradise and Roadrunner #2 from dinafem would be my first choices.

There's some real good Canadian breeders in RCMC.
Lots of strains are bred to finish real early, guerilla gold is a good one. lots of their strains finsh at the end of august.

Another vote here for low numbers of plants,
Aiming for large enough plant size to get buds up above surrounding grasses and weeds.

You should wonder about the motives of anyone saying otherwise for guerrilla grows.
Perhaps they confuse farming with guerrilla growing,
Or perhaps they want to sell hundreds of expensive seeds for dwarf plants.

whatever you call a successfully high yield
It's best to aim for double.

I think that a good soil mix is a big factor of succes. I always transport good soil to the spot. I use a mix of 2/3 soil without perlite, 1/3 cocos mixt with organic npk chicken shit pellets. The cocos can hold more moistere in dry periods, the npk pellets are slow rellease so enough for a year.

Totally agree that less is more in guerilla growing.

One plant can yield as much as 15 plants in the same place.
Rain crystals are a must for big plants.

My dad's grown both ways outdoor and says putting the effort into 1-2 plants per plot. I've heard of people getting 35lb off 7 plants because they put the effort into all of them and made them massive.

Neem oil kick ass for foiler feeding outside too. Neem granules keep bugs away also.

I don't know where you live but you can easily pull 2lb per plant if the effort has been put like the Malawis on the pic above. Those were only late planted down here but I still expect an lb per plant because of the amount of effort I've put into it.

If I had access to land to grow on I could easily get 3-5lbs per Malawi on a full season. sucks growing guerilla.

YES. I am saying that a couple of bags of ocean forest will support a big plant all through the season. Certainly if one could fertilize yeild would improve, but if we had 2 plnats standing side by side and one grew in straight Oforest and one OF+ ferts, the unfertilized plant yields 10 oz's and the one with added ferts yields 11=12 ozs. So, it isnt perfect, but........

BLUE WIDOW = DINAFEM IS A BIG YIEILDING, TOUGH, POTENT, TASTY PLANT THAT FINISHES MID TO LATE SEPT AND IS ONE OF THE BEST OUTDOOR STRAINS IVE GROWN.

PINAPPLE CHUNK= BARNEYS. BIG YIELDING, EARLY FINISH AND CAN GIVE OG KUSH A RUN FOR ITS MONEY. MID TO LATE SEPT FINISH.

hahaaha, i've done the same heaps , check the date ..i had just read this thread and was ready to post my bit and then saw this ...but very interesting
i've grown outdoors in near desert conditions for nearly 40 years and have definitely come to the conclusion that less is best . for years i busted my arse until that eureka moment came ! i have just ordered some pineapple chunk and was interested to know whether anyone had grown them in tough arid climates and what was the result ..
time for a change a bit , i've had big skunky sativa's for years and feel i'm slipping behind with potency a bit so have been crossing my strain a little with some indica's , white widow and AK 47.....this next season will be the result of this ....

Malawi: incredible genetics. hardy, potent, vigor especially in hybrids produces big yields.

I had some Malawi hybrids last year in a 'straight from seed' guerilla grow that were by far the biggest plants, heavy yielders I have ever grown. got so big and finished so late they almost got me busted; stuck out like a sore thumb (late November) and got leo very excited.

Its funny how malawi keeps coming up. Its my fav guerilla strain too! Very big fast growing plant. Dense but somehow amazingly mold resistant even with constant humidity and rain . And very potent. Ace seeds breeds a good malawi

im getting this one for sure next year. Ace is one my fav breeders right now. humidity is what i have to deal with alot here in the deep south east. im also gonna get their bangi haze fems as soon as they put them up for release

Ok I'll jump on the necro posting train lol. Blue Widow is an awesome strain. I have grown it inside and out. Excellent both ways. Good flavor, surprising potency, yields, and is fast. Its one of the wife's favorites and she smokes like a champ.

Outside I have never had any pest or mould problems at all with BW.

the blue widow and blue hashplant are on my list for 2016. everone that posts about these strains all say the same thing, fast finisher,big yeilds,potent and mold resistant.
