I sold C gold in the 70's and early 80's none of it smelled skunky.
You have to breed in the Afghani early in the cross, it's a 3 way cross, backcrossed again with the sativas. But which Afghan right?

It doesn't matter. If you like weed that smells like shit .. that's great.

But I dont.

This whole skunk fiasco is driven by a massive herd of sheep bleating the same request. Skunk! Skunk! They have no idea what it is or why they want it. Its trendy.

Most people talking about it and they arent even old enough to know it is. Why the fuck do they want it? Marketing.
Ride that wave to the bank buddy. To the bank.

If we review my pure cg thread. And con5inue the discussion if needed: do you think the terps in sun baked, rained on, compressed and bricked fermented pot will smell the same as if you grew it indoors, outdoors or domestically or at home? Processed under optimal conditions?

I will have to beg to differ on that one as everyone knows the answer. Grow some pure colombians now at home and let us know the contrast that's the best path to validation isn't it?

Of course not ,the entire climate would be different . I believe different terps come out according to where and how it is grown as needed for survival, also curing will effect it,however I also believe dominant aroma will always be there so regardless of where it is grown there will be a degree of aroma that is shared. I can grow strains inside and outside and they share aroma, some stronger in than out and vice versa but the undetones are there. You have found some skunk and that's awesome in those plants when you went there,I'm not saying I am right and your making it up, I'm just saying when I sold it it was spicy and musky IME. I have to take you at your word, you went there and that is your experience. I would love to grow some pure unadultured Colombian. I have only found skunk odor in hybrids.

Some people got mexican weed is that compressed brick with mold in the middle, but I will say that people could also get the high quality mexican weed. Just depends.

If it's not in the same soil in the same conditions, it's not going to be exactly like the original.

Exactly. It isn't going to go from skunk, to a spicy musky floral thing by a different curing process.

You're far more amicable in the face of nonsense than I am. I respect it. But I have a hard time biting my tongue.

What is it that attracts you to this fowl odor? Would you also like for it to taste like for example... sardines, or burnt mustard? Just curious what is attractive in your mind.
It's okay that you never had real Skunk weed. You can admit it. You can also admit that you're a sock puppet account, talking to yourself. We all know it. It's transparently obvious, every single time you do it.

For those of us who have actually had REAL Skunk weed in our past, there is nothing "foul" about it. It's completely intoxicating, and addictive on its own.

I've let plants die then dry on the vine outdoors and let them get sunbleached. It dramatically changes outcomes. I've fermented as well. Same thing

Anyone who says different lacks the experience and or knowledge , which are intimately connected, to say otherwise.

Skunk terps are extremely volatile. It's also why they smell so strong.

Domestic skunk weed or even even mexican made it from harvest to consumption relatively quickly....colombian pot not so much

Back in the day, I moved pounds of RKS. It was out of New Orleans and was sometimes cold cause they kept it the same place rich people store their furs.
I've seen folks try to 're-create' RKS several times over the years with no success. I doubt med-man will have different results.

I think that is why nobody found it in your work. It is so volatile, it dissipates in to thin air before the terpenes are produced. Medman got that real skunk. Respect ✊
