we went ahead and drove all the way from Idaho to Colorado last night so we are home safe

With the warmer weather Kevin has started to shed his winter coat….cat hair everywhere…..including my face. Tiny guard hairs that drive me crazy.

Outside….no. I don’t want him to experience or even get a taste of the outdoors. He is curious as it is. Coyotes and Bobcats as well as foxes are thick. Fargin coyote got one of our cats and they will never get another one.

i brush him in the basement. And yes…..gotta keep the cat hair off of the buds.

My dogs get a bath about every couple of weeks.
my bedroom floor has looked like this covered in blankets and sheets since we got Arlo. We have carpet in a couple of rooms. This being one of them. Will change flooring soon I hope. Just need to get on it…

Welcome back big. I woke up this morning and it felt like somebody was beating my back with a baseball bat so I resigned myself to an ice pack on my back and heating pad on my belly this morning. I’ve been very lucky to have animals that do not make a mess in my house. I’ve got extremely dense carpet, so dense I can pour a glass of water on it, and it won’t seek down but sits on the surface. It takes a quick vacuuming of the house and the place is fine. If Ivan comes in the back, he’s got to go through a large and closed and air-conditioned porch where I have a runner that picks up just about anything that’s on them and if he comes in on the garage, I’ve got the mudroom. I spend maybe an hour a week, vacuuming the floors, but I let the cleaning lady do the dust once a month because it gets quite thick. Dutch was a dream as his Ivan, but he’s a little bit more frisky. When he eats, he lays down on the floor and wraps his paws around the bowl and just pigs out. A handful of food doesn’t stay in the bulb gets on the floor. I’ll pay the price of cleaning what little I have to to keep dogs like Ivan in my life… it’s nice not to have to read some of the nasty comments that one of our ex posters used to put up. Here’s hoping all has a great day.
