Hey everyone. It was a nice day today. Warm and sunny with only a breeze not a brisk one just cool. Decided to remember George Foreman buy using my George Foreman grill to make our chicken tenders to accompany the fixens‘ of rice butternut squash and fresh corn off the cob. Hope everyone had a sweet day and @Boo I hope you are getting on the downhill side of the junk you have. ✌️

When I was young we knew we had to get a job and support ourselves. We knew we would have to work until retirement. Today that work ethic is mostly gone.
I had a paper route and a lawn business at 12 year old, 14 - 16 yrs old I was a busboy at some of the most expensive restaurants in the area. At 17 I dropped out of High School, took the GED test and enlisted in the Army.

Mr.s K was the 1st ever papergirl in South Jersey. The paperboys didn't like it and would sabotage her.

We both came from poor single parent homes and had jobs since we were 12 years old and then 2 kids by the time we were 19. 46 years later we finally get to enjoy the fruits of our labor.

I used to be able to watch golf but I just can't do it. Too boring. Even Tiger Woods doesn't jazz it up for me. The grass is nice.
I enjoy MLB baseball and college and pro football. Some NASCAR. Horse racing is awesome but I feel bad for them.

We paid our dues….ever hear of taxes…..
Social security and Medicare are 15.3% of your income and your employer pays half of that. The rest goes to keep the government funded. Health-care for older people is LOTS more than for younger people and those old people aren't working/contributing. I don't know the 'break even' on those programs. You know how long someone's collecting vs what they paid in. It's somewhere in the 70's depending on how long they worked. After hens get too old to lay, ya put them down to make room for the next generation. Farmers can't afford to feed unproductive hens. Maybe Elon will start doing the math for senior citizens?
