I was so overwhelmed, it is hard to describe. Leatherneck John Wayne did not come home with a broomhandle Mauser in case/stock, a brass knuckled double-edged dagger, and then... several GI belts and canteens for ME!!I love the picture Walt. He does look like a movie star and I can see how an 8 year old would take to him.
I had a girlfriend once that could fly one of those
Sounds like you are about as worthless as I am. Good job…Swede tried to find one for me but could never get the right size to fit my hands….
I loved the ports in Tacoma/Seattle area. Lots of boats to photograph!
One thing I miss about being stationed at Ft. Lewis is all the little towns and hideaways.
I'm sure it's grown bigger since.
Sounds like you are about as worthless as I am. Good job…
They now come with electric models. Gov’t is building charging stations as we speak….I had a girlfriend once that could fly one of those
I fire mine up every now and then.I had a girlfriend once that could fly one of those
I have to agree Pute I have mine tucked away in my stomach, with a lingering flavor of chocolate, nuts and caramel.I don’t allow a snickers bar in the house. I don’t eat them as long as they aren’t in the house. But every Halloween somehow they disappear…..I hide them in my stomach….

OMG….love em….love good Toffee as wellI have to agree Pute I have mine tucked away in my stomach, with a lingering flavor of chocolate, nuts and caramel.
My Mrs brought it home to me, I do like some chocolate. I even worked at a candy factory for a while they were called Smiles'n Chuckles. Big chunks of chocolate weighing a ton, 50lb bricks of butter etc.
I liked the chocolate covered nuts the best, always seemed to be a box of chocolate covered cherries was getting damaged on the production line.
