i was life flighted 125 miles to Denver when we rolled the truck and I broke my neck

no one asked me about pot , not one time

I guess if it’s an emergency pot is not a high priority , fukin’ boneheads..

so yeah , I lie , it’s what most of them want to hear anyway

I’ve had 1/2 dozen surgeries and only got lectured once and I could have put that sorry excuse for a doctor in a rear naked choke or arm bar

My current doc (retired now thank goodness) was against any type of cannabis use. I decided to give the system a chance and fess up to using cannabis since I was now retired and living in a legal state. It turned out to be a big mistake as when he said, “you don’t know what’s in it” I came back with, I know exactly what’s in it as I grow my own. He took it out on the papers he was holding slapping them around a bit shaking his head then put a comment in my file that day that I read online that said patient was argumentative. I was boiling mad when I read it and mentioned it to him on my next visit. It some how disappeared when I went back to look at it after that. I have a physician assistant now which works out better for me and I told her the story about the cannabis in case he left some ugly comments in my written file.

Ya id think a broken neck is bad enough they'd have to do something now.
Just like any other medical emergency unlike elective/planned surgeries.
