Do some estate sales for a couple weekends in your area. You can get some really nice stuff on the cheap

We furnished our whole house buying from estate auctions.

Lot's of rich people furnish their formal living room with high end furniture and never use it. Our sofa was custom made and the people had it for month before they decided it didn't match the carpet. So it went in to storage, 8 years old in brand new condition.

I think it's the only way to get really nice high end furniture without taking out a second mortgage.

Us too. I love going thru those high end kitchens for good cookware.

The DMSO Saga

Over the last three months, I’ve begun exploring a remarkable forgotten side of medicine — DMSO. This simple and freely available natural chemical is incredibly effective at treating a variety of (often "incurable") conditions, including many that are otherwise impossible to treat including:

Strokes, paralysis, a wide range of neurological disorders (e.g., Down Syndrome and dementia) and many circulatory disorders including Raynaud’s, varicose veins, hemorrhoids (discussed here).
Chronic pain (e.g., from a bad disc, bursitis, arthritis or complex regional pain syndrome) and a wide range of tissue injuries including sprains, concussions, burns, surgical incisions, spinal cord injuries (discussed here).
A wide range of autoimmune, protein and contractile disorders such as scleroderma, amyloidosis, and interstitial cystitis (discussed here).
A variety of head conditions, such as tinnitus, vision loss, dental problems, and sinusitis (discussed here).
A wide range of internal organ diseases such as pancreatitis, infertility, and liver cirrhosis (discussed here).
A wide range of skin conditions including acne, herpes, hair loss, varicose veins (discussed here).

It's like a treasure hunt.

I made our dining room table from some live edge maple I got from an estate sale

Good thing it's temporary, I shoveled a considerable number of truck loads of gravel onto my country drive in my 3/4 T truck. Would get up very early 4-5 am drive down the road 1/2 mile to a gravel pit and bring back 2-3 loads. In the end gravel was pushed to the side and the other pushed into the ground. It didn't take long before it wasn't noticeable.

That would make one hell of a pallet!
😆
Seriously that's a beautiful piece of furniture you made.
Thanks it was first attempt at furniture making.

This live edge black walnut desk was the first thing I made . I wanted to make sure I had the epoxy work down before moving on to the table. Ignore the red line on the right it's reflection and the white spot is where the epoxy was still drying.

At the very top of the pic you can see a small part of that dining room table before it was finished.

A guy I use to work with did intravenous DMSO treatments and swore by them. When he would get them, our whole office would smell like oysters and sulfur.

I know for me there are times I don't feel like cooking and will eat some sort of packaged food. I prefer not to.
Sometimes with these types of food I will add something to enhance it.

Hello Sub and a very good evening to you:)
Thank you old man and a good evening 2u2. We don’t eat a lot of processed foods but I do like a few of them and keep some on hand for a quick meal when I’ve been busy and forgot to cook. Hope you day has been a good one. 🥰✌️
