there are no bad dogs, just bad owners teaching their dogs everything but love...dogs are like kids, teach them love and kindness and that's what you get...I know someone that has scrawny fear biting GSD's...to teach that aggression they beat the dogs so they lose all confidence and bite out of instinct...these people and dogs need put down...you hit a dog you should go to hell...
I am not qualified to comment on the subject. Me and Mrs Pute have had nothing but Pomeranian's for the last 30 years. She loves the breed and I just tag along. I let her have her dogs and she lets me go fishing....Now I hardly fish and she has cats......

I spent a few years working at a ginseng farm, I had to spend my first year on the weeding crew until I could get on maintenance. I had to work closely with about 30 women in the fields. Now, I thought men could be crude at times but these women, well, they could make a grown blush with their talk and actions. I had no idea that women could be so " lively and unrefined." I loved every minute of it.
Yeah, I managed an electronics firm once that was mostly women and it was an enlightening experience, although I have three sisters so I wasn't blown away.

You are like our personal Zorro FFS! ☝️😊
Hee, hee, hee, more like Zerro if I had to seriously fence a bout!

After having my pacemaker check today at St Thomas's Hospital - was told that I didn't have any Atrial Fibrillation recorded this time - last time it was 3% of the time - 6 months ago -

- today just 3 episodes over the past 3 months - where the heart went slightly over the required BPM apparently - and maybe then it was because I was training a bit too hard - so I'm just gonna do enough for maintaining my current fitness/strength level - and be a bit more careful over pushing 🫸 the old ticker into the red - on the rev counter 😀
Hey Gypsy, words of wisdom from yourself. More of something isn't always the best. It's good your paying mind to your limitations. There are those who want you around and above ground.:)

Hope your day is a jolly one.

Once I get done trimming we are going looking at furniture. I need two Love Seats and a sectional. The old stuff is worn out. We are just looking....this is the second info gathering trip. Will look for sales after the Holidays.

Good day OM....hope your day turns out fine and dandy.
We just went to several furniture stores last week looking for a ladder shelf. The are all empty now. Giant stores with only one or two customers in them and two or three salespeople some offering extreme discounts. I would have thought they would be selling a lot of lounge chairs. Good time to shop there no crowds. Don’t expect no crowds when you go to lunch tho 🤣

I fenced foil, epee, and Kendo as well. Epee being a gentleman's sport where a touch anywhere on the body, including a pink on the wrist counts as having drawn blood and therefore a point.
I've got a boken, leaning in the corner, next to a shotgun, with a Glock 17 in the dresser.
An unloaded gun is a club or a paper-weight.

I bought my house and a week later, I had a GSD. My next will be a pink-papered bitch. Hopefully, I'll pick her up. K's never been to Europe.

A room-mate from Japan asked me about Kyudo. I had to tell him I was probably the only 'round-eye' in a hundred miles who had ever heard of it.

I can reduce our dogs to quivering piles of jelly with just my voice and have never had to strike one. People have told me that they wish their children behaved as well as our dogs and my reply has always been, "Me too!"

Besides being unnecessary, I would never want my dog to be afraid to come to me when I call. Sometimes it's critical.

Good idea! Between Dad and the Marines, I always check when picking up a firearm as well.

Shit happens with firearms and it happens most frequently with the undisciplined!
My gramps shot is toe off climbing over a fence with his rifle. I got my hunting licence and proper training through courses. When I got my drivers licence, I didn't bother with family training, I went to a driving school and got my chauffeurs license with less than the usually lessons.

Learning right from the beginning is always best in my mind. Especially with firearms and tons of metal driving down the road.

hello GW:)

It’s really sad to say and think that I will never own a dog again. I love my cats, but there’s something about the companionship of a dog. Puts a tear in my eye When I think about all my little furry creatures that I’ve owned in my life. They are all resting in peace now and I’m just an old man.

I shot a Bear glass recurve growing up and watched Kyudo while in Japan, but never tried it. I was looking for something that exercised the major muscles in my body and burned off energy, which fencing and martial arts certainly did.

Being an engineer, of course I have a crossbow with a scope..............................
