We should keep in mind that there are women on here.
I spent a few years working at a ginseng farm, I had to spend my first year on the weeding crew until I could get on maintenance. I had to work closely with about 30 women in the fields. Now, I thought men could be crude at times but these women, well, they could make a grown blush with their talk and actions. I had no idea that women could be so " lively and unrefined." I loved every minute of it.

earlier it was mentioned about leaving loaded guns out...living by myself and where I do there must be 8 loaded firearms in strategic locations stashed along with back up mags...shit's getting crazy out there and I don't care to be a statistic...I hear too many rumblings about the government wanting our defense weapons...past and new incoming administrations...they're all whores drinking from the same trough...

Fun to look at old pictures. I just had to replace my computer so am going through old files and pictures as well.

I was looking for a picture of my Confederate States of America boarding saber, so put saber in search and what came out was about a 1970 picture of me saber practice fencing the then state saber champion, Rich Wayland. He always beat me but he did help hone my saber skills.

I'm the fencer on the left caught in the start of a fleche attack and the fencer on the right is Wayland. My Maestro, Albert Manley is the man judging on the right and I don't remember the fencers name judging on the left.

our current administration has completely fallen asleep. The military is woke, and the politicians have completely looked the other way. Now we’re in danger. We all know it we feel it. I am hoping and praying that when the new administration takes the rains we will start protecting ourselves again. Hopefully it’s not too late many in this world would love to see the United States fall apart actually we are.

Unfortunately, summer, so blinded by their political viewpoints that they don’t see this. They’re about to. We all know our government knows exactly what’s going on. It’s a shame we have let ourselves become this blinded by the light.

We have left so many undocumented immigrants into this nation. We have no idea who they are or where they are. They could knock out our power grid so easily. We are not safe thank you Joe.
8 million that we caught. Who knows how many actually came in. Funny that 90% of them are military age males. I prefer to use the term "Invading Army" but the wife kicks me under the table if I use it in public.
Always used 8.2 for gallons. worked just fine
A pint is a pound the world around. Now you tell me it's NOT ???
After having my pacemaker check today at St Thomas's Hospital - was told that I didn't have any Atrial Fibrillation recorded this time - last time it was 3% of the time - 6 months ago -

- today just 3 episodes over the past 3 months - where the heart went slightly over the required BPM apparently - and maybe then it was because I was training a bit too hard - so I'm just gonna do enough for maintaining my current fitness/strength level - and be a bit more careful over pushing 🫸 the old ticker into the red - on the rev counter 😀

Damn I still struggle to cover the city block in town and a single pass up the steep drive here at the cabin before that leg just plain stops functioning. Toes 3&4 curl under and I'm walking on the nails. WInd up dragging it the last few houses if I push to far.

PT therapist keeps urging me to ditch the cane but that is just not happening without me pinwheeling for balance every few steps. I have the tendency to keep turning and walking a straight line is really tough. Still look drunk as can be sans Cane.

In other news the Veteran Admin wants to assign me a new GP as part of acceptance into the Spinal Cord program. I've had the same Doc and NP for over a decade and not thrilled with starting over.

On the other hand..... I seem to have plateaued and a new.
Sigh...

...not even close..people are not walking around with AR15’s on shitty. leashes..

every crack head and his mother have these unstable not/ever ready for prime time attack dogs..

yes they can be gentle.[I guess] please keep them at home

but I have more accurate kind of thinking

its like priming your carburetor with gas to start it when its really cold out ..i

t works until it blows up in your face

"pit bulls are family “.

yeh please keep them at home..and pray they don’t wreck the baby

usually its some one elses

or give me your ar-15 for backup

Don't get a PB.

In the interest of the thread I'm not going to continue .

Yarddog did the right thing by euthanizing his PB. Aggression towards people and animals by any breed should not be tolerated. Nor should generalizing based on media reports with no context.

I shot my pitbull this past summer. Was my baby girl. She got mean. Started growling at my kids. Growling at my wife. My kids never messed with her. She snapped at my boy once and when I scolded her, she growled at me too. 97 lb pitbull. I won’t get another one. When you get a bad dog, you got a real problem. The issue is all these jackasses “breeding” dogs. A real pitbull breeder culls any dog that shows any aggression towards a person. No matter what.
Have ya thought about GSD's?

Morning OF...busy day today, I have to clean the kitchen, a good thorough cleaning. takes me a few hours. We both have our duties to keep the home running along.
I have a doctors phone call at around 5pm, she rarely phones on time. Time to renew my prescriptions and discuss my in office appointment for January. I will have to work my supper making around her appointment.
Kitchen cleaning will be my biggest task to be completed today. Physically it will be all downhill after that.
It's going to be above freezing today.

I had to kill a couple of those exact dogs last year.
They bit my wife and killed my jack russell.
I held the owner to account.
I hold the owners to account as well, while acknowledging that the kindest thing you can do for some dogs and humanity is gently euthanize them, because it isn't their fault what they are.

I've never owned a Pit Bull but have met a number of them and most had a sweet loving temperament, one that was guarding a doorway bit my hand when I offered it to him to smell and one was a perfect example of why everyone shouldn't have one and shouldn't breed them.

A paint contractor brought a male Pit Bull named Buck to the park, who was loving to everyone at the park, but was prone to fight to the death with another dog over a stick or ball.

One day he tied into Heidi, my German Shepherd female over a ball and the owner was standing there saying, "Oh my", so I grabbed Buck by the scruff and jerked him away from Heidi yelling, "BUCK NO!"

They are a ball of muscle and he twisted in my grip so that we were suddenly face to face and only inches away from a maw that had just been fighting to the death. As the oh shit realization struck me and before I could react, he kissed me because we were buds.

The denouement is that Buck's ignorant/arrogant/stupid owner went back and got Buck's sister to breed Buck back to and she was unfriendly to both man and beast. I can only imagine their progeny......................

there are no bad dogs, just bad owners teaching their dogs everything but love...dogs are like kids, teach them love and kindness and that's what you get...I know someone that has scrawny fear biting GSD's...to teach that aggression they beat the dogs so they lose all confidence and bite out of instinct...these people and dogs need put down...you hit a dog you should go to hell...
