Something I think of fairly often. I rummaged through my keepsake box last week and saw his obituary. Man, the older I get, the younger fourteen years old looks. That was twenty years ago now.

When I was 16, a few miles down the road from my house there lived two brothers. A year apart. They decided to play with a pistol one day and one shot and killed his brother. Took him a day or so to die. Horrible thing. It just ruined the mama. And the pain in their dads eyes. I’ll never forget the look.
It didn’t make sense. Those boys grew up around guns. Hunted. They should have known better. I Always wondered if their dad didn’t teach them correctly.
The surviving son, could you imagine the guilt of being alive, knowing you caused such grief to your family?seeing your family hurt, and having to relive that moment of you pointing, and squeezing that trigger? The sick feeling when you realized your mistake.
Or the dad?? Was he guilty too? Did he teach his boys? A firearm is a deadly tool. It was designed to kill. Did he do all he could? Who knows.
Every year it happens to someone. More people get shot by “unloaded” guns than you can shake a stick at.

And in the news today - we have a report on how many steps per day it takes - to combat depression 🫥 -

- How many steps/miles do you do per day? - 1 mile = approx 2100 steps - (depending on how long your legs are - I suspect ) - as for myself - I average 4 miles per day currently - thats around one hour of walking - at quick march pace -

Good Morning All (OF's):

Wishing each and every one of you, a pleasant morning, wonderful day, and outstanding evening.
I am currently pretty tied up with projects and work, so wanted to start with a daily check in hello.
Today is duly considered a "hump day". So, I hope and trust all of us will get over any big humps!

See you all tomorrow (again)! (y):)

The trick is, rub some on the 'pee-hole' in your penis. Pretty sure Capsicum would show itself quickly. However, I've never tried either. Further testing is required. Preferably, in a double-blind study.
I too have found that simply washing my hands with soap and water is insufficient to remove the capsicum and discovered the hard way to not accept fellatio from a woman who has been eating Jalapenos.

It begins again.

Another day with the potential of leaving scars.

The mental ones I fear the most.

Starting the day with shopvacing the spilt feed out of Blondy's van. The guys that loaded it wasn't careful when loading it. Threw the bags onto the bolts that hold the chair lift down, busting them. There isn't much left as I left the door open, and Ribeye cleaned up most of it. lol

but first, another cup of coffee

More rain today starting at 44F and predicted to soar to 52F.

Finished Christmas shopping with a new watch for Grayfox. The Gucci that I bought her 40 years ago still works, but it is getting hard for her to read, so got her a gold Citizen with a larger dial.

No gym this morning and nothing on the calendar so open to debauchery! Wheeeeee!!!!

After having my pacemaker check today at St Thomas's Hospital - was told that I didn't have any Atrial Fibrillation recorded this time - last time it was 3% of the time - 6 months ago -

- today just 3 episodes over the past 3 months - where the heart went slightly over the required BPM apparently - and maybe then it was because I was training a bit too hard - so I'm just gonna do enough for maintaining my current fitness/strength level - and be a bit more careful over pushing 🫸 the old ticker into the red - on the rev counter 😀

Good show brother!

I changed my routine by reducing the weight and doubling the repetitions when I hit 80. It has worked out well for me.

Sooooo, a guy was walking by the high fence surrounding the local insane asylum and he could hear the patients inside chanting 13, 13, 13, .............etc and wonders what is going on!

Noticing a knothole in the fence, he peers through it and gets poked in the eye with a stick, after which the patients inside start chanting 14, 14, 14, .......................................

I scour the pawn shops looking for good deals. One in particular just hands you the weapon. They never clear it first. First thing I do is check the chamber. Even if I set that rifle down last. Next time I pick it up to handle or move it, the chamber is cleared. And I expect the guy I hand it to to do the same procedure.

I shot my pitbull this past summer. Was my baby girl. She got mean. Started growling at my kids. Growling at my wife. My kids never messed with her. She snapped at my boy once and when I scolded her, she growled at me too. 97 lb pitbull. I won’t get another one. When you get a bad dog, you got a real problem. The issue is all these jackasses “breeding” dogs. A real pitbull breeder culls any dog that shows any aggression towards a person. No matter what.
