I just got the call I was expecting from my hospital. I have to be in there tomorrow at 7 o’clock and they say should take about five hours before they let me out… I’m having stents put in both of my femoral arteries because I have very poor blood flow to my feet. My mother left me all of her genetics and rotten medical issues when she passed.
Good luck Boo. Stint is a simple procedure now days. Just think we will both be under the knife tomorrow. I will race ya....

Boo I am very happy for your confirmed date and time for this resolution. I am not a very public person when it comes, especially to someone else's, health care. That being said, it is wonderful they have the solution for you. I have, more or less, the opposite situation as you. My arteries to my legs are as strong as a bulls, but have weak veins (genetic varicose vein). When I went in to get checked they used an ultrasound device, and determined my arteries were near perfect, but my veins showed ZERO blood return. Needless to say, I was a little dismayed and shocked. From what I have been told my best fix is compression stockings, LOL!! Got a physical this month to check. GL to you, Sir!!(y):)

Hi GW, I have not said HI in a while, hope all is well in your neck of the PNW.
Food, one of the last enjoyments of old age. I can think of a couple old people I knew who ate a lot of desserts in their last years.
I have my collection of Clive Cussler books I plan on reading, some for the first time and rereading others.
I'm a fan of adventure stories. Laying down and having a book rest on my pillowed chest is the best way for me to read. I can't read hardcover books, can't hold onto them with my arthritic hands, shoulders; can't read with head looking down because of arthritis in my neck and shoulders. I have enjoyed reading since childhood.
Happy reading GW
Good afternoon Old Man! A double gorgeous day here and enjoying my book! I read all of Cussler's books at one time, but haven't kept up. I have most recently been reading Michael Connely and James Patterson.

I like to read in the Lazy Boy in a reclined position with the Kindle sitting on my belly.
