You don't 'learn' metric.

"Learning" implies something unknown that has to be mastered.

You just use it.

Everything is in 10's. No fractions. You have ten toes and ten fingers. It's simple.

The 'learning' part is trying to compare this to that. There is no need. Just use it.
I use metric when I am measuring certain things ,it sounds more impressive.

The man I called my Dad then my gramps was only related to me through marriage to my grandma. Only my Mom and my Grandmother were the only 2 people I knew who were maternal. I never new any family members besides them. I seen my paternal father once for a few minutes when we looked at each other across two country drive ways, I was probably about 5 yrs old. We never spoke.
I had a tumultuous family life filled with violence, drama, excessive alcohol use and mental health disorders.
I had a difficult time understanding my grandma she was loving to me but unpredictable in nature, she split my Mom's head open in a fit of anger. Both my grandma and mom had mental health problems. My mom is the only person who never harmed me in any way. I hated when my stepdad beat her and made her cry out in pain.
We all have skeletons in our past... mine was along those lines as well. Different verse, but same song.

Morning gang. Cold snap at 35 degrees. Damn this winter bs. Basking in my basement under the heat lamp. I gotta get dressed and head on in to work. Of course management has been full retard since Tick got hurt. Turns out the jack he was using leaked. We knew it leaked cuz someone wrote “LEAKS” on it. They are adding cameras everywhere. Like that would have prevented it. First off, management didn’t give a fuk about that jack leaking. And thirdly Tick knew that Jack was leaking down.
Some folks at work scared they going to test the whole shop. But tick didn’t do any drugs. I got my B vitamins and water standing by as always. It’s a shame I gotta lie to keep my job. Been there eleven years. If I was no good I’d be gone by now.
I worked at a country factory(particle board) about 250 employees , they did a drug test on the employees. My understanding was about 3/4 of the employees showed some kind of intoxicant. They couldn't fire that many people, there would be no one to replace them. They stopped workers from leaving at lunch hours and management watched workers like a hawk. Life carried on at the factory.

Here's what I like about Floriduh:

It has both an east and a west coast. And really, a southern coast.

This state is unique in that it has TWO time zones.

Meh. Feh. Peh. Let's increase that uniqueness by a full order of magnitude. <-- "Booshit, Unca, that'd be impossible!" shout the crowd of Young Grasshoppers.

How about a time zone INSIDE a time zone? Floriduh has one. Nothing like it in the world. Lookit the map:

  1. Yes, British Columbia (BC) has different time zones within its province12345. Most of BC uses Pacific Standard Time (PST) during standard time and Pacific Daylight Time (PDT) during Daylight Saving Time (DST)1. However, there are also some communities in BC that observe Mountain Time2.

Back in 2011 I woke up at 03:00 in screaming agony. Something very wrong in ma belly. A few pokes and prods later they come in all wearing lead suits and want me to drink the contents of the 4 tiny vials in the lead lined case.

Sir you have an exploded Colon and need emergency surgery NOW! This was a 4 inch cut on the belt line and home in a couple of days. 30 days later my temp spiked and the agony was back.

This time they did the full Montey and gutted me like a trout. Cut hipbone to hipbone and up to my navel. Hung a colostomy bag on me and I was good to go. Sorta. 3 months later we did it all again and connected all the plumbing up where it was originally.

I came out of that year looking like a death camp survivor down from a starting weight of 220lbs to 140. All that slice and dice left me with a mess of agonizing adhesions in the abdomen that oddly enough THC put to sleep better than all the drugs I'd been prescribed. Anything could set the pain off and drop me to my knees yelping like a whipped dog. Sneezing, picking up my dropped keys, twisting just right. The bitch was the 30 minutes delay before the pain hit. I've got to think back and try and figure what the hell I'd done to wake the damned thing up.

I was already making dry ice hash from the grow and smoking that near exclusively anyhow, but it was annoying the wife to have me up 4 times a night smoking a bowl of Hash. As long as I toked every 2 hours like clockwork the pain monster stayed way over there.

I'd stopped smoking cigs after the surgeries, but all that hash was making me cough in the night and waking her highness up several times a night was not going to work for long. I'd run across Kats work in the past and revisited her page and after talking with her I whipped up my first gram with just hash and butter. 6 hours of zero pain and freedom of movement from only 1/10th of a gram. Hell, that wasn't even a good bowl load of Hash.

I bought my first tub of granulated lecithin the next day and started the journey that leads here. I lost track after I ordered the 10th bag of 1000 empty capsules but it's well past that now.
What an amazing story! This should be taught in schools.

Is this product ever sold in stores?
