Hi Ledo:)

All Durlumbo are now harvested, the purple was the last.

The strongest smell was on the late flowering green one, a smell of fermented fruit like a slightly overripe passion fruit.
The Purple and the fatty one were more floral.
And the NLD one was like oldschool sativa, lemony and hazy.

Thanks a lot bro for sharing with me, that was a good adventure

My only regret is having left the males too long, it doesn't help when the fertilization is at the beginning of a long flowering.
I can't wait to try the cross with the Congolese i made.

Cheers bro :)

Very lovely, looks oily & potent !

I look forward to the smoke reports, beautiful plant & lovely open structure & flower:leaf ratio ;)

There’s a reason most Sativas show females way before the males….

Monoecious “Male” chopped back, I found some pollen in the flowers & don’t want to use it now, but definitely curious on how this plant continues to behave moving forward, I love good experiment(s)

This looks like a real male, he went from showing nothing to nearly dropping very fast, his flowers have nice pollen within I’ve already checked - and he’s a very delicate late plant, good terps…

Very early in grow I marked the monoecious male/female as my favorite smelling plant out of 50+ plants, long before any plant showed any expressions of sex…It definitely raises my interests in experimenting with it, it’s also one of the most robust & vigorous plants I’ve ever grown, it’s got my curiosity for sure

Finally Figured out what KKTS is - Khon Kaen Thai Stick

View attachment 19105495

Looks rather broad but structure & terps are consistent with others Laredo/Lindau has shared with me from the region
Khon Kaen is one of the Isaan provinces that are close to Laos ,
Laos can have wider/broader leaf , the seeds are sometimes larger than what we expect of thai seed too ,
much of the weed around prior to legalisation came from Laos in the way of brick weed,
i wouldnt be surprised if thats where a lot of the current "thai" seed came from too ,
after all folks tend to name what they find after where they found it ...

Good seeing you my brother

Previous sends from Laredo / Lindau have been numerous seed groupings from Vientiane region and a couple from Xayaburi region…

The one Laos you used to grow, do you know the region it originated?

Laredo has traveled to that area something crazy like 50+ times over the past decades, he’s been accumulating seeds a long time but like anything you’ve gotta grow them out and put in the work searching…

The most recent send I finally got the details on the 3 I pictured previously, it is as follows for anyone interested

KKTS: Khon Kaen Thai Stick.
Thai grower in Khon Kaen,

SR. - Commercial thai sativa strain.

TG. - A thai grower in Nakhon Phanom, nice old man, have different thai strains.

I got it from blb , the well known super laos , haha ,,

he is in udonthani and got it from friends in Laos ,
i kinda assumed it was from Vientiane,
but im not really sure ...

i have been there , but all we really did was suss out some temples ,
buy a few shirts , drink some beer ,
Laos beer, or beer laos is quite good ...

The food of the isaan provinces , isaan food , is laos food ,
they also speak laos language , im sure the seed has gone backwards and forwards for eons also...

That's a nice weather station.
Thx I’ve got the outdoor components mounted @ 16 feet up on top a 2” 10’ piece of EMT that’s run up a fence post; it gets pretty good readings on most things outside wind as the house & some tall pines block from a couple directions but otherwise it’s got all I need, you can dig into readings down to minute by minute which is stored & can be viewed in the more detailed screens…

NC Female showing bunch of balls forming, it’s crowded in there so I just chopped it, everything else holding firm for now; looks like I’m gonna have two beautiful Males to use from the 87.5% SE Asian x 12.5% Gambians

IMG_0312.jpeg

One of the Males most his arms been chopped off, top left easier to control him

I let the NC male pollinate the room a tiny bit & chopped him back completely, he’s valuable and appears to be a firm & true male which is tough to find in the NC’s
