You know, like some take their knitting or a book while in the waiting room, you could bring some bud and do some trimming while waiting.:)
Here's sumpin' I do that gets folks cheered up in waiting rooms:

I always bring a bundle of all kinds of peacock feathers. They come in an amazing variety of shapes and sizes from looking like scales on a carp to five foot long beauties. I pass them out to everyone there, including the staff.

Ladies, cats, and kids all love them.

The toughest-looking guys smile and accept a feather(s), as well as the busy receptionists. That starts folks talking, like asking where I got them. They are from wild birds who were born in my yard 20+ years ago and just never left.

They shed all their plumage for new stuff once a year. I'll go down to the mailbox and pick up a dozen feathers on the way... then find more on the way back. Since they hang out in my garage, sometimes fluffy feathers everywhere get to be a problem.

Despite all the theories, we have gone through all the ups and downs and still got more than 10X. It is a matter of record that historically real estate has been a good long-term investment and the supply is limited.

Point of fact, the current demand for housing is greater than the existing inventory and it is also becoming uber expensive to build new housing.
Was a wrong time for me to hang up my tool belt.
I thought I was done and had wired enough of Long Island.
Just when I thought I was done ,they pull me back in.
Good morning Kids wittle cold, so far 1 cap and 1 cup😊

Can you picture a lady with her arms straight down her sides, holding two peacock feathers so that the "eyes" at the end of the feathers are over her eyes, so that she looks like a beautiful naked alien staring at you?

Cannot show you the pic.

Bitcoin is backed by the exact same thing as the dollar ya goofs.........imagination.
😆
Here's sumpin' inneresting regarding the mining of bitcoin: It turns out there may well be a trap-door in the mine.

Quantum computers. They ARE coming they are up to 72 q-bits already. What would take IBM Big Iron two hundred years to solve could be solved in one second.

everyone should have a few days provisions stored in their home
water and food are top on the list but also some kind of fuel item like those camp stoves are nice
i think another good thing to have would be wire and nails to build shit, that and duct tape
I agree with ya, @pop_rocks -- except for the "few days provisions". I am old enough (born in 1940!!) to have lived back in a society that absolutely required a family to have a couple of months self-sufficiency, not days. It was just a way of life.

You had ham hanging in the cellar, pole beans strung dried in the attic, salt, water, a real garden, etc.

If you have three days food... what do you do on the fourth day, when it has not been OK (for whatever reason) to go outside on the first three? The twentieth day?

Eleven years after I retired and closed Innovative Project Management, Inc, I got a request from an aerospace company to design them a walk in size vacuum interlocked inert atmosphere weld chamber for welding large titanium castings, which was one of my specialties before retirement and no one else was building one equal.

I had to start up Graywolf Consulting, LLC and buy liability insurance for the one job but we built two that turned out well, after which I closed the company and retired again.

Mostly clear with some sprinkles starting at 39F and predicted to reach 50F.

Still no return call from Courtesy Ford dealership, even after finally leaving a phone message with their GM and leaving him a detailed email detail the problem. I therefore made an appointment with the Ford dealership in Gresham and will send a copy of my email to the Ford corporate customer relations department today.

Also time for another haircut. My hope is that the young lady that cut it last time is still available. She did a really good job.
