A little backstory to our house. I grew up next door. Grandma bought her place in 76, and we lived there ourselves from 2004 up. The people we bought our house from sold out at cost. Poor lady had five kids and a deadbeat propane and Freon huffing fat ass worthless white trash weak minded husband. He went off the deep end and they divorced. When we went to look at the house her youngest son, around 6 asked me if he could go home with my wife and I. He had only met us that one time. It broke my heart. I could feel the boys pain. And the look in the wife’s eyes, poor woman was just stressed to the max and overwhelmed with everything. When she moved, she left the wedding pictures on the walls.

She contacted me last week and is in the state for a few weeks. Wanted to come by and just see the place. I really don’t want to. It’s just awkward and I think it’s going to be uncomfortable. She just wants to see outside. I said yes.

It’s everything we wanted. 35 acres and a pond, nice house and 35k under appraisal. It’s something to feel good about and I do. But there’s always a part of me that remembers what it cost one family. I didn’t do it. It’s the husbands fault. He split his entire family up. Over addictions.
I found twelve packs empty in the woods. 10-11 empties in each one. Three sets of AA tokens in the junk draw.

I buy my pants from tractor supply. Their house brand. I prefer the work pant style over denim jeans. A little looser and the fabric is strong too. I think I paid $15 a pair and have worn them two years.
Funny I buy mine from Menards
15 to 20 a pair
Got away from dungarees
Now I'm starting to where bibs more, gotta away from that for a while.
Was forgetting my name people were calling me Hank.

Be picking a few Blueberry plants this week i see.
Have had to run the dj gear with an open tent door.
Went in there one night opened it up and got hit with hay smell.
It's like what the fuck is this shit.

The Vintsge tent a few of them might get picked this coming week also.

Ive noticed some stuff since I've been on this thread, I see where alot of you complain about pick and clean. Time spent in the processing room.
But I also see you using more nitrogen resulting in more leaf than I do.
I don't get near the leaf you guys get and I spend an eighth of the time plucking

Bobby Allison died today. If anyone watched Nascar when it was good.
That’s one sport I miss. It just changed about 2002 or so. The 90’s were the last good years in nascar.

It was a lot more fun in the early years when the cars were still the same POS frame and body as what was on the streets.

The strangest coincidences... We've got Ginny and Jimmy as regular guests. They come only for peanuts in the shell. But they don't just fly in and grab one and fly out -- each of them will pick up one after another until they each find that one apparently feels just right.

Then they fly about ten feet to a post I have in the yard and carefully eat the peanuts.

We get the stellar jays do that. Walk down the line of peanuts on the railing and lift each one before selecting as many as they can cram in at once. 2 down and one crosswise was the best I've seen.

Hey guys, just to introduce myself. Brian here and I have been around somewhat. Was browsing around and Old Farts sounded like a place I might fit in, ja ja!

Welcome Brian. Doobies in the dish, Hash in the pipe, Hash capsules in the jar, make yourself at home.

My mom bought the house next door at fire sale prices when the neighbors got into financial deep water. She'd spent to many years of living next-door to 3 dogs and no shovel to pass that opportunity up.

Today's been a wet one mostly - but the sun did come out for a coupla hours or so - starting in the early afternoon - so took advantage of the free vitamin D on offer - and got some sun on me whilst doing some work in the pool - plenty of sturdy fences and posts around to do bodyweight exercises too at this place - so today was a full exercise day - with lots of stretching and calisthenics thrown into the mix - which all makes me feel good ultimately - first full day at this resort on Ko Samui - golf cart taxis here too - just like it was in Pimalai - on the other side of the Thai Peninsula - now I'm on an island in the Gulf of Siam - sea looks turquoisy green/blue - but lots of clouds up there - and intermittent showers - fingers crossed that the weather will improve for tomorrow -

Some sorta Minor bird looking bird showed up - squawked - then took off - then came back again to look around -

All in all - a nice place to get stoned and work on mind and body - lots of meditative 🧘‍♂️ moments - assisted by the cannabis -
It's a hard life buy someone has to do it. Thanks for your contribution to the greater good.

I started switching to flannel lined jeans during the winter a couple of decades ago. Not only warmer outdoors, but warmer sitting around the house with the thermostat at 68F.

I used to buy them from Sportsman's Guide, but they stopped carrying their own brand and I bought Wranglers this time.

Compared to skinny jeans, I think they make my ass look bigger, but alas I already have all the women I can handle.
Sometimes I ask K if these overalls make my ass look fat.
