As of this minute no flood warning in logan county but there's more waves of rain coming.
Finishing up the simi's electric brake wiring first thing. Found that the GMC has a grounding issue. It didn't show itself till they came to get it. Hate it when that happens, makes me look bad. Hoping it's an easy fix and not the computer. Knocks on wood....

Here's me and my new buddy Dum (it means black in Cambodian/Thai) - He has 240,000 Agarwood trees - 10,000 Rubber trees
- and thousands of dorian/mangosteen trees too - plus alot of other plants and trees - The land Dum and his family grow on is very fertile - and quite close to the Cambodian border
Today - Dum's lovely daughter and lovely wife were so very hospitable - and showed us around 2 huge plantations - and an Agarwood factory - where they make one of - if not the most expensive perfume essential oils - called Oud - made from the secretions of the Agarwood tree - Dum has been growing these trees - and involved in the production of Oud - for many years - ever since he had to run away from his country Cambodia - and become a refugee in Thailand - during the 1970's - 80's - escaping persecution from Pol Pot's Kmer Rouge -
It's distillation on a huge scale - this is just one of the lines of distillation - pizza oven looking vestibules - in Dum's factory - I was described the intricate and scientific method used to make the Oud from what looks like Agarwood saw dust - but as is often - all those facts and figures go in one ear and out the other - especially when I am sworn to secrecy on the matter - < looks over his shoulder furtively >
The older tree - the better the Oud - so here Dum is doing some smell testing -
we are shut down , nowhere to go..
we can go to the local grocery store but they are 80% out of stock after two days of road closures..
there must be 100 or more trucks parked on the main road here , stuck…

We are socked in here. Bigs weather forecast tells it all. We are gonna get hammered again. If the forecast holds we will have had over 30” this week. So much for the drought…..
