we already have a foot on the ground and 3’ foot drifts…

the roads in and out of town all shut down all the way up to Limon and I-70 , which is mostly closed from the Denver airport to the Kansas border…

I kind of like the metric system, the worst thing is trying to convert all the time, stick with one or the other.
Canada is caught between two systems. Because of the historical ties between Canada the U.S. and the U.K. we end up using both systems, it's crazy.

I like metric, the multiples of 10 make much of it pretty easy.
Our highway signs and weather reports are all metric.
Metric is so simple. No fractions. Everything is in tens.

It's very handy when making a violin, or any music instrument.

the sides- 2mm thick vs 5/64ths...
the back- 4.5mm thick vs 11/64ths

It's a no brainer.

He was saying goodbye here to all his fans - this performance was on September 28, 2023

In June 2022, Keith announced that he had been diagnosed with stomach cancer at the end of 2021, having undergone chemotherapy, radiation, and surgery for the past six months. Keith said that his battle with cancer had been "pretty debilitating" in a December 2022 press release. Keith died in his sleep in Oklahoma, on February 5, 2024, at the age of 62

It ain't fair. When I wuz a kid, the fargin Brits had:

Groats, farthings, florins, guineas, pence, ha'pnees, sixpence, crowns, half-crowns, shillings, pounds...

And now they come on like Hatchet Mary to bust up the bar her momma built. It ain't even cheatin'-fair.
Hi Walt!

you forgot the thruppence too, it was my favourite coin as a child. 😁

I’ve recently done a little electrickery job in someone’s stables and the payment is going to be half a butchered lamb when they go to the slaughter house. 🤟🏼

Then there was a time I replaced all the high bay lighting in a show arena and we got paid with a horse for the wife. That farm had a Rottweiler who hated me and had a few chunks out of my trousers, but I was quick enough up the scaffold most times, their standard poodle used to lunge at the rotty when it was running for me and hit it square on the head with both her front paws. 🤪
I think I’d survive if money vanished or we had an apocalypse.
Mad Max but with sheep and ponies!

Hope you’re fine n dandy today dude! ✌🏼

Morning OFs.

Got the quacks shortly, need a scan for diverticulitis according to a private doc I went to see, so this should be just to get In the queue for one. I feel fine though, just get cramps too often and am scared to go too far from the plopper some days. 😁

Anyway, my little cubby is firing along, makes me smile when I see these gals in the morning.

Its cramped, but I can squeeze 3 sativa types in there in 10L pots.

Have fun all! Need to go run the dog.

If they don't get it physically and mentally, they release it in negative ways
Yes they do! They are also prone to separation anxiety. We rescued a male GS whom we named Cisco and were the third owners.

The first got rid of him because he became an escape artist when left alone and destroyed things getting out, and the second had him for one day because they took him home and left him alone while they went shopping for dog food, only to arrive home to about $2K worth of damage.

After a year, we thought he was over the separation anxiety and left him in our new Buick Rivera while we looked at new carpets, only to return thirty minutes later to a destroyed leather front seat and driver's door panel.

You notice from the picture that Cisco was missing the end of his tail and the vet say it had been excised, but no clue how he lost it.

I started having fun when people asked what happened to his tail, by telling them that he had bad separation anxiety and we tried everything with no avail until an old Indian told me how they did it on the reservation.

Every time we came home, and Cisco bounded up to greet us, we cut an inch off of his tail. Eventually he stopped being glad to see us and stopped being anxious when we left.

Good morning brothers and sisters!

A cloudy day here starting at 41F and predicted to reach 59F.

I shopped around for EV batteries yesterday and couldn't find anyone but the dealership who could supply them. The dealership service department still hasn't returned my call for an appointment after leaving two messages, one at the service department and one with the receptionist with a complaint after waiting most of the day.

Today I will contact their competing dealership in Tualatin. I bought it there but have been avoiding them since they tried to charge me for an oil change after doing the 30K mile checkup and of course EV's don't have crankcases.
