I’m glad Pute is doing it. I think it would be not so good for me to try. I can be a bit impatient at times.
I know I did it a couple of times. After harvest and leaving some bud on similar to yours. Took the root ball out and cut it down some, replanted in a veg mix, left it till it sprouted new growth.
Maybe if I was on the moon in one of those labs for years with no access to seeds or cuts

I did it years ago when there was considerably less choices in strains...M39 was the second time I did it, the first was a special found plant, gifted in a single seed. Did what had to be done, at the time.
I don't think I would do it now.
