Get ready for another pissoff:

The NFL is not going to "allow" you to watch their football games by just turning on your TV. Read the link.

Wanna watch the SuperBowl?

You will have to BUY your way in. Gotta $ub$cribe to get past the paywall.

I no longer watch millionaire anti-American groids taking a knee. College football is wilder anyway.

Was always mystified how the game of grid iron - was called football - when rarely during that game the foot ever touches the ball - whereas the rest of the world plays real football (the most popular global sport) - using mainly the feet to play the game with - so what happened is that the Americans changed the name of real football to soccer ⚽️ - within the USA - and nicked the name 'football' for grid iron - 🙄

OMIGAWD. I do exactly that every moanin'. A peacock will be staring in the window, so I go out with a white garbage can with birdie seeds, a bag of black oil seeds, and a bag of peanuts.

The peacock all but pushes me away as I fill the dish out there with birdie seeds and black seeds. Then I fill the totally squirrel-proof** bird feeder.

Next, I place a peanut under the thin wire hanging the feeder to the hoop-post, and another in the "V" of the wire. Peanuts around the lip of the feeder.

Blue jays will come and take the peanuts from the wire as I put them up there. They bump into my ear/hair doing it. They do NOT (yet) take them from my hand.

By this time, there are five squirrels running around on the macadamia bush and the midget pecan tree****

I drop a peanut on the ground at my feets. Here comes the boldest. They run off with them, and I never see if they bury them like I thought I saw once.

**Experimentation led to victory. It is a 7' vertical black 1/2 square barstock with a sideways "S" top. <-- Of course, that would never stop even geriatric squirrel... so I added two "stratergeries", to wit:

1. The rod is sunk in the ground to the T-bar you jump on to sink it -- but at a distance the little acrobats cannot reach from the roof. But still pretty close to the window.

2. The rod is climbable by squirrels even if greased. So they climb up the rod to the height they cannot jump to from the ground... and face the underside of the steel inverted cone. This no-maintenance rig has been totally squirrel-proof for ten years.

**** I planted two trees I bought in a nursery in northern Floriduh (it was by my hunt club). Twenty-two years ago. One was a Flame Tree

the other was a pecan tree. I love pecans. They were both the same size.

I will not show the pornographic picture of the pecan tree.

The pecan tree is no thicker than my thumb. It is FIVE feet tall. After 23 years. Seems pecan trees have to have cold weather to "sleep". <-- I din' know that.

so , you will not show the pornographic picture of the pecan tree……

such a tease Sir!…

Ahh - I'm up for a medical procedure on Feb 19th too - something I've never had before - its called a Urodynamics Bladder Test - checking on the functionality of my bladder - and I'm supposed to drink 2 pints of water an hour prior to my appointment -

- it's a non-invasive procedure - what does the procedure involve? -

Once your bladder is comfortably full you will be asked to pass some urine into a special toilet that measures the flow - you will then be asked to lie on a couch so that the nurse can scan your bladder area to check for any remaining urine in the bladder - to do this a small amount of scanning gel is placed on your pubic line - and the scanner passes over this area -

*I'm all excited about the 'special toilet' - lol
Wait until the scanning gel placement...
Hubba Hubba!

Well - it's a capitalist country - and those that control the money and media - can pretty much do and say and influence/control what the population do or say or even think - using the laws of the land where necessary -

- There are many within the USA and beyond that know this - but as soon as they start pointing it out - trying to make others aware of it - they get cancelled - figuratively - or literally - JFK is a good example of this - RIP

Post-radical prostatectomy with chemical recurrent cancer, with a decent sized tumor in a lymph gland near the right iliac (inner right-hand hip), coincidentally very near where another lymph gland with a tumor was pulled 2-3/4 years ago during the initial radical prostatectomy, when the Doc who nearly killed me pulled 25 lymph glands for pathology during that ill-fated surgery and discovered the cancer had already escaped the 'capsule' and a sunnier prognosis went -straight- down the shitter.

Told them no one's going near the area the previous surgeon messed up, unless I get a whole lot more clingy with life than I am right now, but that I'd accept SBRT on the lymph gland area with the current tumor WITHOUT anti-androgen tx if they stay away from the area that the Doc in Seattle botched and later nearly killed me, with 7 massive infections and a consolation prize of a trophy-sized hematoma for good measure..

I told the current Docs they should imagine the previous 'zone of destruction' as being cordoned off with yellow police crime scene barrier tape, and no one goes past that line.. ever again.
Sorry to hear

Thanks.

The words I would share with anyone involve reframing, to the extent that to some degree, I'm one of the fortunate or lucky ones who got the golden telegram, telling me that time's probably more limited than my lethargic self had assumed, and to straighten out accounts; relationships, sleights, wrongs, apologies, whatever.

There's some poor bastard on some highway this very minute, about to have a head-on, with no prior warning to clean up whatever shit's still floating in the wind, and they won't be afforded that opportunity.

And to get past that initial shock phase after diagnosis, and the 'hurry up and battle it' phase that follows, and all the time spent wringing hands and worrying about data and numbers you can't really control, because while all of that BS is sucking your energy away, life is happening, and the Zen irony in that is that in those phases, one is forfeiting life for fear of forfeiting life.

Makes absolutely no sense when looked at from that perspective.

Most of this world and life was never really in our control in the first place.

That angle of view has given me peace more than many other things.
Next door neighbor in same shape the chemo is keeping him alive but I think he's about to drop out.
He got his daughter married off last weekend, that's what he's been waiting for.
I think he's done with his treatments by choice.

Worked at the paper mill and smoked cigarettes ended up with mouth cancer 3 white spots.
Fuckin cigarettes have had more than 5 friends and family members pass from them things.
You'd think people would get a clue
