What I love is to see the way my Mother would date a picture and write something sweet a Mother would say.
All my guns are loaded. My Daddy would not let me have a BB-gun. He DID let me save up for an $11.95 J.C.Higgins single-shot .22.

Hey!! Gotta brag: I wuz soloing with 8 hours flying time at Boca Raton Airplane Patch in a Cessna 152 (AKA: Spam Can).
Was gonna practice touch-and-goes. Was on the downwind leg of my first T&G, and the engine went (*KILKONK*) and I had a fine view of my non-moving propeller.
Radioed in the blind that I had an engine fail and was turning final. A Spam Can with a single passenger approximates a glider pretty well, so I had lotsa time and 1000' of air.
Brought it around, lined up on the centerline... and landed kewl as you please. Even had enuf to taxi off on the first ramp to clear the runway.
They threw a party for me, announcing I had a "Chevron". The back of my shirt went up on the wall with the date and my signature. Several of the guys told me they were jealous -- they'd been flying for thousands of hours and did not have a chevron.
So doan you worry about trubble with the plane. Just buy one and I will fly the sumbitch fer ya.
That is how my Beautiful Witch has aged. But with a bonus: She still has not gone grey.

I have a picture every grade up to third grade. , two forth grade picturesa fifth, a sixth, two sevenths and a half an eighth grade picture.

A big change here. Where we would make eye contact and at least smile, if not share a salutation, now we pass with diverted eyes. We live near a high school and virtually none of the kids will meet my eyes, so a whole new generation growing up that way.
I just found this in my jumble pile that is my 'puter. It is the skeleton of a story I was going to write for a magazine. I did not write it because the first part was too damned accurately prophetic and it disturbed me.

Rain and then a cloudy day here, starting at 43F and predicted to reach 51F.
I made another appointment with the pain clinic to look at alternative solutions to RFA on my back but wasn't able to get in again until almost the end of March. Must be a lot of folks in pain.....................
Breakfast out with Grayfox and an old friend, followed by continuing to read, The Wager, about live aboard ship and shipwrecking a man of war in the mid 1700's.
