I know the kid intimately and he actually appears to be clouded up and just short of tears. My feelers were hurt for some reason. I may have just been told to stop squirming and look at the camera or I would get my butt busted.
I can't tell looking at it and don't remember one, but it is certainly possible. While I don't remember the event, I can tell by the car behind me that it was taken in Kilgore, Texas at my grandparents' home, because that is his car, which never left town.

That certainly could be. Here I was in the sunshine, sucking on an imaginary tit, petting a puppy, and pondering the goodness of it all, only to have the titty taken away and be sternly admonished to sit still and look pretty for the camera.
The puppy looks mostly unsure and suspicious to me, happy to lay back against me, but paying attention and looking suspicious in the direction of the camera.
