- I had just bought an old Vauxhall Victor car for £30 - from an old man - that had owned the car from new (1968) - it needed some attention to the suspension - so we bought a 2nd hand spring coil - and got it fixed - then we drove the car to the English port of Harwich - and got on a ferryto Hamburg Germany - to meet some of his relatives - then travelled on down the autobahns to Munich to meet others - before heading on to Saltzburg in Austria - Zagreb in Yugoslavia - then Thesaloniki - to Athens in Greece - where we put the car and us on the ferry from the port of Pareus - to Iraklion - on the Greek island of Crete - oh what a great road trip that was - and the German part particularly fun in and around Bavaria - drinking lots of huge steins of good German beer in German pub gardens - and dancing with beautiful German gals -

There is a little girl in my neighborhood that we see on our walk sometimes about 4-5 years old small enough still to fit in one of those Barbie 4WD pink battery trucks. Her dad managed to supersize the battery To where that thing will fly I’ll bet 25 mph. She rides along with her mom as she runs her morning route speeding ahead to the next block to wait for her or double backing with a spin turning around. Looks dangerous as hell but the little girl knows how to drive that rig even tho it’s amazing to watch.
Alas, the lazy apathetic assholes operating the gym decided since it might snow, they would take the morning off and not open the gym until noon.
Of course they failed to announce that, so a bunch of us are standing outside the door at 05:51 and 35F, wondering, "What the fuck?"

The issue at hand I suspect is this.........a lot of Americans are pretty fed up with all the stoopid and we voted for what is happening.
We were the generation that invented go carts, though we first called them"Grand Prix racers".
I built my first one using a wooden frame and a two cylinder Maytag washing machine engine and the last using a tube frame with a McCullough Mac 5. The fastest ones then were twin Mac 5's.
