Morning OFC. Just checked on things down stairs..... most important thing to do first was to make sure Ziggy was using his cat box.....bingo!

Meanwhile the grow is rocking. Plants are loving life. Which means I am as well.

Gonna be warm enough for a walk in the heat of the day!

Watching Ziggy run the house this morning......laughing my ass off. Animals bring true joy to a house. I even got a crash course on their language.....

Gonna have to post it later.....maintenance is still going on ......at least for me.....Big can post.....not fair!

Speaking of meat, made a huge pot of chili from meats that have been frozen for years during our recent big chill. Low was 12F, ugggg, nothing else to do but to try to keep the greenhouse warm. Was excellent. It's super complex with about 4 varieties of dried/ground peppers, chunk of Mexican Poplar brand chocolate, fresh poplano chile, comino, oregano, onion/garlic, etc. and BEANS! Had a link of chorizo, that really kicked it up notch!

I get into fights with my snotty elitist Texas friends who shun any chili that has beans! They have too much of what I call "Terlinqua hot dog chili" on the brain. https://www.casichili.net/terlingua-263648-844919.html

I love doing beef jerky, Dr. Pepper recipe, sliced eye of Round, smoked lo and slo on my Hasty Bake Roughneck. What a beautiful design that thing is! Got 2 grills, one "let's have a beer and watch the game" RecTeq pellet grill controlled with my phone and the Roughneck barrel smoker with 2 S/S grates and a hanging rack. It's all I need to smoke or kick it up to extreme heat of like 600F for grilling Prime ribeyes.
