Got a letter telling me my LDL cholesterol is a bit high at 3.3mmol/l - should I be concerned?
You gotta bring that cholesterol down man. Same situation here...and triglycerides are like 235. My LDL is like 240? I'm borderline taking medication for it. All I can do is walk my 3-6 miles a day and occasionally eat healthy things to keep me going. I enjoy muscle milk. Strawberries. Granola. Yogurt. Spring mix.

do some research because there are some new studies out about cholesterol that contradicts some of the previous findings

I think the original cholesterol studies were based on manipulated data
Yeah - that's what I heard bigsur - but who to believe about it 🤔? - I exercise regularly - eat right - and get enough sleep - so what else am I supposed to do - if I really need to lower my cholesterol?

I even take 10mg of Ezetimibe everyday too -

good question Amigo

each one of us humans are unique and I believe we have to find out what works for us…..

for me it’s staying away from sugar and eating a lot of meat , I am trying to go all carnivore

I went from 197 to 170 and feel gteat

but what works for me may not work for you

all the best in your journey

It's all newish to me Wolfie - so I guess that I'm OK 👍 then - and not to worry (as he slathers good butter over his crumpets) -
I have been genetically gifted to have low cholesterol, regardless of what I eat, so I don't watch mine closely, but found this chart based on Mg/DL.

Looks like your total is well into the healthy range, but your ratio of HDL to LDL is off some. 200mg/Dl is 5.17mmol/L, 100 is 2.59 mmol/L, and 60 is 1.55 mmol/L.
