Looks like a dawg a neighbor rescued. Got him from the humane society emaciated, wounds all over from other dogs chewing on him. After 4 months he is looking and feeling great. Shepherd and Great Pyrenees, we think. He has a rare liver colored nose.

I feed him a plate of chicken every afternoon and let my dawg socialize with him.
Good on you and my experience with dogs from that background is most excellent with a bit of patience and work.
Those breeds means watch out as he gets older he may very well decide its his time now for other dogs.
😆
My retard sister tried to bring a adult male great pyrenees from the pound into her house full of lapdogs and it was a bloodbath.
🙃

Hi OF, another day and another chance for enjoyment.

Question: I watch the TV show with Ceaser Millan, dog trainer.
Do you believe in his methods of training?

With so many dog lovers on here, I suspect there may be some opinions!
His techniques work on most dogs but I question if he is taking the spirit away and just making dogs extremely submissive and lose their spark, most of the dogs I have watched him train are submissive to begin with . They never put his fails on clips. He doesn't have to deal with true dominant agressive dogs often or dogs that exhibit bad behavior that is not due to weak owners. In packs the leader is constantly being tested and he has to show who the boss is,once he loses a test he has to either retest when he's healed or move down the ladder and the weak ones are sacrificed. Good trainers are creative .People tend to relate human behavior or look at dog behavior through human eyes. What people take offense to doesn't enter a dogs mind. People who constantly cuddle their dogs and lay no rules have dogs that won't listen, just like kids. I see people who let their dogs steal their food or similar and laugh yet they would dicipline their kids for doing the same. Then there are people who hit their dogs and lose the bond and create cowards. If you hit or yell at your dog you have no repected control. I know people who have had dogs for years and they don't even have the recall down and not many can walk dogs in busy areas with distractions on a free lead..He is right about dogs sensing the owner,if you're weak they won't listen. jmo This guy is good if you have the wallet.

90% of my dogs would eat his program.

He's a good example of a very submissive dog, they are easy to train, they won't test you.
Our two newest while bro and sis have very different temperments.
Bubba is extremely willful and stubborn while DaBaby needs to go inside while he gets worked cuz she is extremely obedient.... Malinois level of intensity in her.
Bubbas more like a husky or a cat a lot of times.
He does all the commands reponds to voice control 100% of the time just......at his pace sometimes.

When I had a kennel and real dominant breeding males got in the same area, and it happens, they didn't care about the no touch, no talk, no eye contact stuff and you couldn't reason with them when bitches were in heat . They will fight to the death. I don't think most people should have working breeds but they are the most rewarding for the proper owners.again jmo

My sons wife brought home a great pyreness,it barks all day long, every day.inside or out at nothing. If you let it off leash it's gone for the day.
