See, I don't mind when you engage in some debate or arguement I'm having with someone else, because at least so far, what you say has to do with the topic being discussed and you're offering a different way to look at it. You've never to my recollection ever said, "Hempkat, your posts are to wordy or too long and most people are just going to ignore them". You always offer something to do with the substance of what is said and not the form. I find it totally pointless when someone says, "Your posts are like novels and I didn't even bother to read it." I suppose they think they are hurting my feelings or something by saying that but they aren't. Instead I think to myself "if it's too long for you and you didn't even read it then why are you replying to it?"Point well taken and I bet many on here would agree with your statement.
I can't say why people do or don't do some things, there could be many reasons of how and why a person reacts to something.
If something bothers me I can engage that person or I can say what difference will it make if I do engage them with an argument/debate.
I have a brain that's constantly firing on all cylinders, I much prefer to seek peace over confrontation.
When one of my best friends grabbed my wife's breast, I had no choice but to kick that fucker in the head. After several months we went back to being best friends.
So, I like peace and calm but... they are all choices.
I spent an hour with my counselor today, I'm mentally tired out.
How would one even know that..........is it the desire to wear a dress?Im one trapped in a man's body

Lots of alcohol passed out over the years in gratitude for something or in hope of a favor.
After my mom and stepdad quit drinking, years later their cabinet still held bottles from many years gone by.
I was never a fan of fruitcake, I can eat a small piece and enjoy it. I always think of my Mom's pies, she was a master at pie baking. At the end of her life in one of our talks, I mentioned that she was the best pie baker ever, it brought tears to her eyes.
Hope your furry family is all up to snuff and life in the PNW is trundling along without too much excitement for an older fellow

We agree alla way down the line. What I meant about the Billions was the flow of billion$ around in a dirty little circle... Just perzackly as you say, and not that we are shipping crates and crates of $100's to Ukraine. We did that for another guy. That's actually incorrect, the general premise is spot on but there is a critical difference. Most of the billions we've provided Ukraine for their defense wasn't sent to Ukraine. Most of the billions were in the form of already manufactured weapons and munitions that we had sitting in our stockpiles. The actual cash that Congress appropriates for Ukraine's defense goes straight to the American Manufacturers to replace the physical weapons and munitions we sent over. We don't send them the cash so that they can then turn around and send it back to buy the weapons and munitions. The rest about how Congress profits by this process is pretty spot on though since either way they know which American Weapons Manufacturer is going to be getting a large order in the near future. Now that's not to say we don't send any cash to Ukraine. We do send some money over to help with things like reconstruction and or to buy critical supplies to keep the country running but it's a much smaller amount then the 10's of Billions you hear in the news about Congress approving for Ukraine. I'm not sure what the exact percentage is but the lionshare of the money when you hear numbers like 60 billion 80 billion or 100 billion, is sent over in the form of weapons and munitions.
To send it all in cash so they can turn around and send the cash back to us to buy weapons and munitions would be impractical as it takes time. Ukraine needs what they need ASAP which is why we send the stuff from our stockpiles and then spend the money to replenish our stockpiles. Since we are not currently at war directly and since we already have huge stockpiles to begin with, we can bare the lag time that it takes to replenish the weapons.
Apple for the win followed by mist things that have pie after it.What was your mom's favorite pie to bake? Apple? Did it have the lattices on it? I like all pie
