That's actually incorrect, the general premise is spot on but there is a critical difference. Most of the billions we've provided Ukraine for their defense wasn't sent to Ukraine. Most of the billions were in the form of already manufactured weapons and munitions that we had sitting in our stockpiles. The actual cash that Congress appropriates for Ukraine's defense goes straight to the American Manufacturers to replace the physical weapons and munitions we sent over. We don't send them the cash so that they can then turn around and send it back to buy the weapons and munitions. The rest about how Congress profits by this process is pretty spot on though since either way they know which American Weapons Manufacturer is going to be getting a large order in the near future. Now that's not to say we don't send any cash to Ukraine. We do send some money over to help with things like reconstruction and or to buy critical supplies to keep the country running but it's a much smaller amount then the 10's of Billions you hear in the news about Congress approving for Ukraine. I'm not sure what the exact percentage is but the lionshare of the money when you hear numbers like 60 billion 80 billion or 100 billion, is sent over in the form of weapons and munitions.
To send it all in cash so they can turn around and send the cash back to us to buy weapons and munitions would be impractical as it takes time. Ukraine needs what they need ASAP which is why we send the stuff from our stockpiles and then spend the money to replenish our stockpiles. Since we are not currently at war directly and since we already have huge stockpiles to begin with, we can bare the lag time that it takes to replenish the weapons.

Ours is currently at around $2.83 for regular gas in the Mid Atlantic region and that's at the more expensive name brand stations (Exxon, Shell, Mobile etc. You can find it about 10 cents per gallon cheaper if you go to the off brand locations.

Topping to me means removing the middle meristem after about the fifth node, which will force the lateral branches out faster and further. Fimming is cutting the flower as it forms and removing about 60% of the greenery. If done properly for flowers will develop from where one was fimmed… The key here is, if done properly. I don’t do this, but from what I’ve read, I should.

Yeah that's definitely true at least for things like heroin and other injectibles. The people who do those tend to reach a point where they're not really enjoying the high as much as they are trying to overcome the "sickness" from the withdraw of being addicted.I try and avoid shit that makes me feel bad.
Weird,I know but being like that seems to have kept me clear of most substance issues.
Mainly most of the people I have seen deep into them don't seem to be having much fun most days.

It's not rules no matter how you slice it, nobody is forcing you to read or not read, that's totally up to you and you're free to read or not read and likewise you're free to comment on the topic. All I'm saying is that if you find something that wasn't even meant for you to be too long, or too complicated or whatever, then you're free to just skip over it. I do it all the time and not just because I found the post too long, many of the posts here have to do with things I'm not interested in or maybe are an exchange of some form of humor between two people and so those posts i just scroll on by.
I top all my plants or at least most of them...if I did it right I get 4 flowers from 1 site and if it doesn't look right, cut the entire flower off...I'm in no rush...I grow for me and I don't smoke a whole lot, just enough to get me where I want to be...
dude, we play here as friends and as a team of like minded people...you seem to want to upset the apple cart with your "idea as to how this forum runs"...we've had 60,000 posts with very little drama...your posts don't reflect the intent of what this thread was and now were dealing with friction...we're all welcome to post but if you find us not to your liking so be it...don't rain on our parade please...we don't want heat, just go with the flow please...
