Somebody ordered worms not that long ago. For the life of me, I can't remember who.

If it's you, how are they doing?

Mine are earning their keep. I rewarded them with 3 ripe bananas earlier today to go with their canna trimmings.

Wind energy brings Coloradans a host of economic benefits at the state and local level, boosting job creation and contributing immensely to the local tax base. Colorado leads the nation in wind energy generation, with wind energy producing 27.9% of all electricity in the state.

Yours look happy .. nice

I used a gutted out fridge as a maternity worm bed decades ago ... had to build a tight raccoon proof latched screen door for the buggers .. but just like humans that escape from any overpopulated city the buggers do the same .. even if well fed.

Partially cloudy here today, starting at 18F and predicted to reach 29F.

Still only about an inch of snow here, with freezing rain on top, so my efforts at shoveling were thwarted. My back is too screwed up to withstand the shock of breaking it up with a snow shovel.

I had to break up the drift at the back door using a shingling hatchet through the dog door, so the door will open and we have access to our rear court yard, so that I could reach the equipment shed to get the shovel.

Still without a furnace, but the repairman is scheduled sometime between 9:00AM and 2:00PM, depending on the weather. Fortunately the important parts of the house are staying around 60F with the five radiant heaters, so no worries with broken pipes.
