!@#$%^, I replaced a failed photo electric switch in the lights over our driveway, which requires three hands while standing on a ladder and after I completed the installation, the lights stayed on all the time.

It didn't come with a wiring schematic, so I inferred that black was to hot and red was to the light, but since that didn't work, it suggested I was wrong.

Yesterday I got out the ladder and switched the wires and found that it didn't work at all, leading me to believe that it either arrived defective or I killed it by wiring it backward, so am back at the drawing board ordering another photo switch, but this time I will look for a US made instead of China, so I at least get a wiring diagram.

But ,the best way to check that is take the wire nuts off the black and red and touch them together .
it will tell you if they lite it is the sensor.
Some off brand leds sometimes are no good out of the box

You choice, personally I don't see the appeal to prolonging nicotine addiction by sucking on pouches of tobacco rather then smoking it. Years ago i knew a guy who was hooked on snuff real bad and used it constantly such that he ended up getting cancer of the mouth at age 24. Unfortunately he was killed in a motorcycle accident not long after the cancer diagnosis. Although given what I've seen of people who get mouth cancer maybe the death by motorcycle was more fortunate then unfortunate?

One of my life long friends had a rare jaw cancer(smoking). It was just about 4 years before he could eat a solid meal. The first day he could eat solid food was just around the corner. Before that could happen a driver crossed the center line and ran head on into my friends vehicle killing him but sparing his wife. He had been my friend for 50 years.

As a tradesman ,after close examination of the tool differences ,selection and placement, makes me think her only skill she may have had,was being able to wear such a uniform.Imho

@Gray Wolf -- Can you test the photo switch function prior to installation? This would enable you to get some Chicom return money if defective, and prove your hookup is correct if it works.

In my day ,I wouldnt put a cheap on up high.
I have used cheap ones over a garage door because usually they dont have to be as accurate and easier to change when they shit the bed so to speak.

I can wire nut it to a zip cord and check the output for voltage. Hopefully it will come with a wiring diagram.

good morning

been up most of the night with my cat Annie Tokely who is going on 19 but won’t make it

she quit eating about 48 hours ago and now just tries to drink water , she can barely walk so I carry her to the litter box , otherwise she just pees wherever she’s at

If she makes it another 48 hours I will be surprised…vets are closed today , I may take her in Monday and help her to the Rainbow Bridge

I don’t have room and veg so they’re going into flower. I just transplanted them yesterday with no fade. Unfortunately they are only in 1 gallon pots will wait a few days and put them in a bigger pot. I just read that you can’t Clone these…. I guess it doesn’t matter if they’re gonna be small they don’t serve my purpose like I said I’m gonna grow them out. Smoke them and move on.

I have one tree ornament that has Fuzzy Britches -- my Maine Coon cat as a kitten peeking out from the lit Christmas tree branches he'd climbed up into. I took a pic of him and put it in a little frame to hang on the tree.
