I won't be able to get it as I wouldn't have anything to do with Netflex. I would really like to see it. But, I have to stand for my beliefs.
With my service I can go on the net and change my TV programing. I heard a lot about Netflix so I thought I would check it out. I am going to change it back to Crave soon.
If you don't stand for your beliefs who will. Of course there is always someone to tell you quite the opposite.

Hey DB... are you a boxing fan and watching the bout tonight?

I'll be watching TV by myself tonight, I wonder what time the fight comes on?
I enjoy the history of boxing, specifically Sullivan vs. Killrain, and also enjoy reading about mid 1980s Mike Tyson. You know, his Panini bran baseball cards from 1987 are worth like 10 thousand dollars now. Not a big current boxing fan though. Not watching the fight tonight. Mom is bringing me a burrito

I use ProMix soil. Nothing in it so my plants only get what I give them. I have used the same Nutes since the day I started growing. Connoisseur A and B along with pretty much the whole AN line.
I can't get pro mix here so I order horticultural organic peat with no additives...just saw my delivery at the front gate...I swear they put bricks in that bale...took all I had to wrangle it up on the tailgate...shit must be wet to weigh that much...I used to carry a bale on my shoulder, now the best I can do is roll it to my tailgate, drop the step, and roll it up...takes all I have to do it...
Here ya go @Boo .....Truffle Treats.

That's smart, not trying to squeeze out every penny you can means you'll likely have lower more equitable rent levels and if that's the case a smart tenant willl want to do everything possible to stay on good terms with their landlord.

Unfortunately for me, my wife and I got together too late in life to have children. Sometimes it feels like a curse, other times it feels like a blessing. So while I can't speak from experience I too can't imagine getting a call like your friend got especially if I lived far away from that child.
If I called my dad with that news...

All he would have said is: "You made your bed, now go sleep in it!"

Years ago when I was hospitalized and watching TV, I seen a series of movies with Errol Flynn. One of the movies was when he portrayed Gentleman Jim Corbett, the man who took down J.L. Sullivan. Corbett had developed a new style of boxing that Sullivan was not ready for.

I wonder if my son still has sports cards from when he was a kid, I'll have to ask him. I know some can be worth big bucks.

I like burritos and what Fishsticks called the gay cousin...chicken wraps.

Oh yeah Mormons have all sorts of odd rules and traditions, especially with regards to Temple access. One rule that would probably rule out almost everyone in this forum is that the consumption of caffine is considered a fairly big sin. So is alcohol and tobacco. I never heard of any rules specifically about cannabis but in general recreational drug use is considered a sin. It makes sense for the most part since these substances are known to be unhealthy. They believe your body is quite literally a temple of God and that anything you do that is bad for your health s about the same as damaging or vandalizing an actual temple.

Another thing that many find odd is that they consider dark skin to be the Mark of Caine, that he got when he killed his brother Able. Therefore they believe all dark skinned races are descendents of Caine and as such are considered somewhat inferior and not allowed in the upper levels of the Mormon hierarchy. They've softened on this somewhat in more recent years though as they do have quite a few dark skinned members.

Another one I always objected to but I'm not sure if this is true of all Mormons. Each state or major city has a Temple and a feature of all temples is a tall golden spire with a gold statue of the Angel Gabriel at the top. I've heard it said by the Mormon friends I know, that when the end times begin and the trials and tribulations are about to start, that satue of Gabriel on all the temples will come to life and start sounding his trumpet to warn people but only Mormons in good standing in the Church will hear it. So they can start doing whatever they need to do to protect themselves. Everyone else won't hear it and just go on about their lives as usual.
LDS stores are a great source of long-term food products:
