Swam approx one mile in the sea - knackered (cream crackered) - now nursing a refreshing drink - at the beach bar - in 2 days now - it's back to Bangers (Bangkok) - for one day - via flight - then off on a road trip east towards the Cambodian border - 😀
Be careful. If you get to Cambodia you might have a wild Cambodian cannabis seed get stuck in your shoe. 🤔 Of course you would never notice it until you were back in the UK. 😉

Actually, @The KLF the 50-post requirement is the result of the cut-down from the 250 posts the rest of us had to make.

We bullshit so much, that was 3/4 of an hour for most of us. A quarter of an hour for the rest.

Doan be shy, just because there's drug kingpins and millionaires galore here. And one truly ancient fart.
Ah yup Unc - I first became a millionaire - when I first visited Madagascar in the late 80's - suddenly I was a millionaire - in Malagasy Francs - after changing up a few hundred USA dollars -

I'm always kinda vigilant these days - to check that I have nothing incriminating on me - when returning home - because I'm changing planes in Dubai - and that lot would probably lock you up for a cannabis seed - they are that strict - so always double check luggage - before checking in -

Now that is some funny shit...

Neighbors down the block had an attack Goose. Damned thing could draw blood and all us kids crossed the street to the other side if we had to go that way. He'd stop at the curb but you had to be quick.

Our local library had an excellent sci-fi section, and it didn't take me all that long as a kid to read it all. In later years I'd haunt the used bookstores for as many of the early works as I could find.
All of Heinlen, Asimov, Bradbury, Norton, Cherry, Ringo, Drake.

I could still find Ace doubles for face prices back in the days. Piss the wife off spending 5 bucks for a grocery sack of them as she knew I'd be lost in them for weeks. Few hundred of hard and paperback books with nobody to leave them to.

Any of us with military background check out David Drake's "Hammer's Slammers" series. John Ringo's Citadel set.
A kindred literary soul, @BrassNwood -- I belonged to the Sci-Fi Monthly Book Club in my teenage years. Got a hardcover book every month for $1.85. And there useta be Ace Double novels <-- One paperback with two covers for 35c.

I got to see Chesley Bonestell's art at the Hayden Planetarium when Arthur C. Clarke was there...

My first two published short stories were SF. I was still in High School.

Old bill with the damn sniffer dogs at a few london tube stations last week trying to catch rush hour naughty peeps.

Last time i saw them i was travelling up the tube escalator towards them with a half ounce of charas i had mistakenly forgotten about in my pocket.

Be careful and pack it tight

In Miami, they had Rosie O'Donnell sniffing the luggage...

The sun will be going down in about an hour - time to get back up to the villa - shower and change for dinner - I'm not gonna walk it - I'll take one of the resorts golf cart taxi's instead -

Cloudy with rain here starting at 44F and predicted to reach 57F.

Gym first thing this morning, first morning dog walk, lab work for my bi-annual checkup, and then the cleaning ladies are coming today instead of Wednesday this week, so me and Miss Layla will be headed out to the dog park while they work.

Good Morning All (OF's):

Wishing each and every one of you, a pleasant morning, wonderful day, and outstanding evening.
I am currently pretty tied up with projects and work, so wanted to start with a daily check in hello.
Today's Monday: "Can't Trust That Day". And the work week begins. One day closer to a weekend!

See you all tomorrow (again)! (y):)
