Every time I've visited this place - there has been a 'visitation' - (home invasion) - by the monkeys - and they make quite a mess - ahh well - it's their jungle - buncha opportunistic vandals - lol

Gotta say it... I loathe monkeys.

Remember a dog killed a monkey and the monkeys killed 125 dogs that event.

Morning gang. Busy day. Working on my truck, going to sell it. Haven’t drove it since last winter so I may as well sell it. Must not need it since I don’t drive it. I can pay off most of my credit card debt when I sell it. Then I got to put a water pump on my civic. Wanted to make another batch of boiled peanuts but I don’t think I’ll have time. Takes a full day to pressure can them all. Three pressure canners running. Made 56 pints this spring and they are all gone but two.

Eat them. I season mine with a few soup bones. Then I make half the batch hot with red pepper flakes. If you’ve never had good boiled peanuts you’re missing out. Don’t eat the store canned ones. And most from a roadside stand are too salty. I like to taste more than salt when I eat mine.

Just had a chat with the French manager over breakfast - what he says - that they have to do quite often - is contact the Thai Wildlife Rangers - who remove a whole monkey family from the area - to a less people populated jungle area - but then it's not long before another monkey family gets the gumption to start raiding the villa's again - and so the cycle continues -

Do they eat monkeys? That’s a good way to cull the herd.

The chef puts a live monkey beneath a table with its head poking up through a hole, the customers then eat its brains while it screams.

Sometimes customers that order this dish want to prove their richness and bravery, but many can’t swallow a single bite.
