I don't understand. You don't use the 220 bag....that is the working bag that holds the ice and product? So you would skip that and drop down to the 120 as the working bag. The 75 would get plugged up not to say the purple 25.....fk what a mess.. Do I read you right?
No that's not it at all. The vegetal matter goes directly into the machine with the ice.
Sorry, I said I don't put the 220 bag inside of the machine (with the material inside the bag) like some people do. I do use the 220 bag, but the machine drains into the 220 bag sitting in the bucket, catches some material but not much, most stays in the machine. I'm bad at explaining teks. See the first pic, it has the 220 bag just sitting in the first bucket, that's how I like to do it. Just drain into it. Then it drains into the other bags and out to waste.

The buckets are bottomless so you can flow water through them. Each run starting with new ice in the machine but letting it melt somewhat so it's not all hard ice crunching up the vegetal material. It's not the friction of the ice that knocks the trichs off, it's the vortex created by the washing machine along with the cold water.

I'm the last one to recommend some online guy to show people how to do things but Frenchy was different, he just wanted to spread the love. Anyway, this was his tek to using the washing machine for ice water hash.

Just type in Frenchy Canoli in a search engine instead of me trying to explain this guy's way of using the washing machine. I do it just like he does. He really was a great hash maker. I'm surprised nobody here has heard of him.

I start with something like 4 or 5 oz's but I do it by eye, not filling it too much.

Those pics got me wanting some hash.

The one time i did weigh the start and end material i got near 15% but material was frozen first.

I've bought some large greasproof bags and might just dry sift some aged buds in small batches.

I would do a bubble run but my back says dry sift atm.

I long for the days in my youth of all the nice hash that would come around.
It was always a treat and when it came available you scraped up enough $ to get as much as you could.
You were never sure when it would return

Good morning 😊
‘I watched some YouTube on the bubble hash last night. Still up in the air about if I would like it more than the keef that we love so much made with the dry ice. It does seem that you may get a little more of the useful THC product at the end hence maybe making it a little stronger but I’m not completely sold on that either. (Is it any stronger than keef?) Plus the drying time a couple of weeks in a cool dry place and it seems you have to really watch it as it dries so you don’t get mold. It also seems that you may get a little less weight at the end… I would probably grind it with a hand cheese grinder to dry as we like to add this to joints and in big chunks I’m sure this would burn uneven with the flower mixed with it if it was not ground up.
‘sell me on trying this… opposed to getting dry ice and going again with something I know I already like.
