Cataracts surgery is not really all that bad. The aftercare is a pain in the butt for some but the benefits of getting it done can be pretty life changing. My wife got both her eyes done when she was still around and afterwards she went from needing some pretty strong bifocals to not needing glasses at all. Now that's not always the same for everyone it depends on what vision problems you had before. When my Mom got hers done, she still needed her glasses but she did say that colors were much more vivid then before.
It seems I’m a good candidate for the multi lenses so I will hopefully be glasses free for both distance and reading. Of course, my insurance will not pick up the upgraded lenses but I’m hoping it will be worth it. 🤞

Farting around (as old farts do) on YT, learnin' how to fix a loose axe head.
Not currently information in my repertoire of skills but I got an old axe at
Habitat for Humanity for 2 bucks maybe? as I needed one for a quick job
and it was just the right price :) Job completed but just at the tail end,
the head fell off (oh cripes, now that dandilion game/ sing song...
"mama had a baby and it's head popped off" is in my head haha).
Kinda like having an axe now that I do have one so... gonna fix it
up if I'm able.
If I succeed, put another tool into this old gals box (dbl entendre was
not intended but, can be read as so if, that's the way your mind leans ;) ).
I just gave away our axe and log splitting tools to my young neighbor when I saw him splitting wood next door. My daddy split wood every year as we heated with wood and coal he would bring home from work. He was a coal inspector.

Good Morning folks
I am now making corn bread muffins .
I got the mix from a company.
I got two 6 muffin silicone pans ,jumbo size.
I made one pack and made 6 so my Honey could take them for work.
Delicious but too small.
So instead of one pack making 6 I am making 2.
I will know in 8 minutes if they are good

I dont have any problem with people owning guns. What irritates me is when some dude buys a gun and then wears it like he is now invincible. I want to kick his ass and take his $ 1200 dollar gun. Most people do not have the balls to shoot and kill someone. Maybe that is a good thing but they make it easy for “hard men” to access guns.
Most conceals are around 3 bills

I have already had my left eye done. Simple. However retina surgery is more complicated,
The retina is at the back of the eye.

I haven't baked something in years. Not sure what I would make. Lasagna?

Instead of 6 I made 4 and they came out great.
Need to put a flat pan under the silicone muffin pan
I gave the best 2 to the Gal next door.
Next 4 I make will take a pic.
A muffins life expectancy in my house is counted in minutes.

My wife just got hers done and it's awesome. I'm so happy for her. She used to take her glasses on and off constantly and now she sees things as they should be and we don't have to have the lights on in every room anymore..

" You can never go wrong with lasagna☝️ " : Unknown Italian author

which brings up the question , what did Richard Burton have to say about the lovemaking of Elizabeth Taylor?….

“You‘ve never had it better until you have had lasagna”

I got a pair of those for work; progressive lenses they're called.
One lens for looking down, one for computer, one for distance.
They were novel for a bit, but that wore off. I did not like them.
Now I am back to a mini pair I can hang off the end of my nose!
See if you can try a pair at the optometrist before shelling out bucks.
You might find out that they are sufficiently different you don't like em.
Mine, though an older prescription, quickly found their place in a drawer.

That’s what I have now trifocals. I have been wearing them for years now. I’m looking forward to no glasses except shades in my near future. I get them done next month.
