I'm pretty sure that they all have their fuck-ups - failures and malpractices - due to human error 🤔 - since us humans all seem to fuck-up at some time or other - no matter what profession we are in - or whatever we do -

At least this surgeon came to me and admitted his error - and is gonna try and make it good ASAP 👍 - so 🤷 I'm one to want to forgive and forget - ONCE ITS SORTED - and I'm hoping 🙏 and praying it's tomorrow -
Fuck...........that pretty much sums up socialized medicine...........amazing level of incompetence!
😣

Good morning yourself.

i agree. It’s saying something when one admits their mistakes rather than hide them like my doc did…

Is the site slow last couple of days was asked by someone old and slow too?
Ditto!
Oh Jeez - the surgeon who made the mistake with the pacemaker wire in my heart ❤️ - actually came to see me to apologise late this morning - and told me that this same cock-up hasn't happened in 3 years - and that he had just got back to work - after taking his family on a holiday - and I told him that I'd been parked here on Stephen Ward for 6 days now - waiting for him to show up and fix his mistake - so can I please 🙏 get it fixed NOW! - and he says 'Maybe Tomorrow'

- Jeez - so this sorry surgical saga continues - I told him that I should be getting angry with him - but that might increase the time ⏲️ it's gonna take to fix me - and if I did get as mad as I feel - then he might deliberately make another more fatal mistake - when he finally gets around to doing the surgery - and he says in his Indian accent ' Ow no-no-no I wouldn't do that to you!' - to which I replied - 'Look sunshine - we all have an angel on one shoulder - and a devil 😈 on the other - how do I know which one will be about - when I'm incapacitated - all tranquilized up - and under your scalpel again?' - so he says - ' you do have a point' -

Then I asked him to hurry it up and get me sorted ASAP - since I'm missing me family - and family life - He still couldn't give me a definate time - so I'm really non the wiser on when this corrective surgery is gonna take place - not today - that's for sure!!! -
Can the doctors get sued for malpractice in UK?

My little yorky dog is sick this morning. He has diabetes and would not eat his breakfast. He ate three mouthfulls so I gave him 1/2 of a regular dose of insuline. Now 4 hours later he finally ate his food. Hopefully he will eat dinner on scheduale and get the full insuline dose. I think there is a new female in the neighborhood. All he wants to do is smell around and piss on the same spot. He has himself all upset. He may be starting to go blind slowly. He has been my little buddy for 11 years but I think he is just old and worn out. All things change. “All we are is dust in the wind.”
  • Calcarea Fluorica is used for the treatment of varicose veins, issues associated with piles and for the corrected of blurred vision. It.
  • I'm sorry to read your yorky is sick/feeling bad. I had a basset hound (Maggie) that slowly went blind.
  • It happened pretty quick after we noticed her eyes gettin hazey looking. Took her to the vet for tests. the vet said testing showed her left eye was totally blind/not working, and injected something in eye to alleviate pressure causing her pain.
  • Long story short, I came across a article on IC MAG from a "yester year" thread that discussed how a old time vet was tasked with healing some royalties dog going blind. He accomplished this by first treating with CALC FLUORICA, and then using eye drops made from the "first" washing of cannabis extraction. I did'nt know how or what that meant but I looked up calc flourica and to my amazement it is a thing thats still made/sold.
  • So I purchased to try on Maggie. To my amazement the tiny pills cleared her remaining eye up. No more cloudy look!
  • If I missed putting in her food a couple times, her eye would start to look cloudy again. But would still clear back up!
  • She eventually went totally blind for the last 3 years of her life. Amazing how they can learn to deal with that! (no choice) But these pills extended her vision I'm positive of that/proofs in the pudding!
  • Never found out what "first wash" cannabis was but if I had to do with another dog, I would research how they made cannabis into medical formulas at the turn of the century to know how to make "first wash"
  • These pills are harmless, humans can take too. Its worth trying if your pet is getting cloudy look to their eyes.

I'm wondering what the controls are with socialized medicine. Any repercussions?
Seems like as a patient we have to sign for any treatment we have - I'm not sure of what all it says in the small print - because I'm usually so 'under the meds' - that I can't scrutinies things so well in that state anyways -

The National Health Service in the UK does get sued for malpractices - and has to pay out many millions every year because of their mistakes -
