I let my local guy do the roasting. I buy this by the pound and also his cold brew made outta the same stuff.

Dale City -- that's a DC suburb in Virginia -- all the houses were wired in aluminum. I was at a guy's house, and he told me to feel the light switch cover: It was really warm.
Aluminum does not behave like copper. When it gets current through it, it heats where copper of the same guage does not. And when it cools, it stays sorta stretched.
What that means is that after a while, connections get loose. The current has to pass through the wire with "just barely" connections at switch points. This current-crowding can cause heat, and fires.

One thing fo' shore: Cup Numbas 4 and 7 don't never get full. They's blocked. That leaves Numba 9 as the winnah (unless the stuff solidifies, and the thing getting poured into counts as a cup). #5 is out forever and ever amen becuz there aint enuf source stuff to fill it. [/Game Theory]

Yeah, the fluid Kaffe roaster is similar to the Gene but is hands off if you want. You set a profile, grams, hit go and it does the rest. Had a Behmor. Thing sucks. Most of my roasts tasted like ash.uhuh..

the beans came with the roaster..the 25 lb bag from the other place is better beans..but
95% is in the roast imho

I sowed some old C99 backcrosses I made years ago last night. Overnight soaking and they split. Got the originals from Ron (Heaven's Stairway). Few years ago 20 year old backcrosses germed and finished, until mites screwed them up. Cold storage of seeds works.
