Got to thinkin'... I remember being in Lost Wages, NewVada, in the early sixties. I was attending another of my brother's weddings (he had so many, at the last wedding reception -- we had leftovers).

Where was I? Oh, yeah. So somehow I wound up with about thirty silver dollars in my pocket. That is going on two pounds of metal in my pocket. What a PITA.

I was glad to change them even-steven for some dollar bills.

Nowadays, they are going for about $30 a pop.

What, Pilgrims, does that tell you about the hollowed-out and almost-gone-to-vapor fiat dollar bills? 1/30th of what they were worth?

Or just buy 30 silver dollars for $30 each... That equals $900 donnit?

Yeah, I don’t like a loud restaurant either. We usually go out when nobody is eating before the older crowd around 3:00 for eating and or drinking. And usually not on the weekends.

Ever been in a Greek restaurant when they start breaking dishes? That's a hoot. The one I was in also had a Neil Diamond clone. Sort of creepy but great rack of lamb...

I actually learned that the hard way, failing to notice how much my svelte young bride's mother weighed and how she treated her husband.

Genetics are a crapshoot as well. There are baldness genes in both sides of my family, but I have dense unruly hair like one of my great grandfathers. My first wife's family had baldness genes as well, but both of my kids have dense hair like me, and my build, though neither got my green eyes.

I've always checked Mom out, that's usually what you are going to end up with. Worked with both of my "marriages "

Was not preggo was severely constipated and is fixed now.
Super sweet cat I am glad she wound up here with us.

Every cat I've owned found me somehow. One of them would climb on top of trash can, hook claws in screen and bang the door until fed him. I had him 20 years. My Taco.

8 miles so far today time for a recharge and replenish for the night shift.

Ahh - I'll ask her later if she's a Loridana or not - got 2x2 hours sleep so far - now 10 hours before my operation - I wonder if I can get back to sleep now -
So it's 'Nill By Mouth' - which means absolutely - no eating or drinking anything - for the time left before surgery - can't even drink water !
