Hot weather has this GG4 x (Purple Trainwreck x Jesus OG) seed plant growing swiftly, almost worried it might jump out of it's pot & run away.

I'm having trouble getting a grasp on the newly changed laws. Can someone explain it like I'm five, please?

I bought a gram of Green Crack labeled as such in PDX the other day. I also saw Cotton Candy being sold there. Dunno who is {not} enforcing these requirements.

The names can technically be displayed correctly Inside the shops (on a menu, strain card, etc.) Full barred names can't appear on a label leaving the store or on advertising outside of the space. Fyi

That may be what the law says, but the printed label on my little bag of weed that I got says "1.0 gr Green Crack"

I know - just clarifying the rule. They're not supposed to do that - even if it's put in an exit bag. There hasn't been tremendous enforcement- yet.

Yes, that would explain it. I have my own exit bags after one place tried to charge me $2 more for one. I slathered them with negative FB on several sites. They also have way too high prices. The place I normally go has pop lid plastic jars and good weed for cheap prices. They also gave me several exit bags for free.

Outside of legal names, I find the labels to be all over the place. Some list the grower and harvest date, others just a batch number, they all list the testing lab and date, and some have THC, CBD, THCV, THCa, CBDa, and CBN. Others just have overall THC and CBD. There is little if any consistency other than the lab and test date, and the MJ stamp.

One million people are expected to visit Oregon for the eclipse — and the demand for marijuana is surging

Oregonians will be treated to one of the best viewings of the total solar eclipse — when the moon crosses between the Earth and the sun and blocks out the sun's light — on August 21.
About one million people are expected to visit the state of Oregon in order to see the eclipse. It seems some of them will want to buy legal weed while they're in town.
Local news stations are reporting that some Oregon marijuana dispensaries have seen a spike in sales ahead of the solar eclipse.
"Tourism already to Oregon, plus an eclipse, is doubling up. And that means customers are doubling in our doors," Mike Drevecky, an employee at the Little Amsterdam Wellness Center in Portland, Oregon, told The News Review. "I mean, we're swamped this morning alone."
A dispensary in the city of John Day is reportedly turning away recreational customers, in order to have enough product in stock for medical marijuana patients.
In Huntington, pot shop Hotbox Farms is expecting 10,000 customers or more through the solar eclipse event, according to WVTV Fox 13. The small railway town has a population of about 400. Steven Meland, co-owner of Hotbox Farms (one of two dispensaries in town), said the company's 21 employees will work around the clock in order to meet customer demand.
"We have guys out around the state compiling product and purchasing product to make sure we have enough of the different product for people and we don't run out," Meland added.
Marijuana has been legal for recreational use in Oregon since 2015. People over the age of 21 with a valid ID can buy and carry up to an ounce of weed. It's also legal to give away weed as a gift, so long as it's ingested in private. Driving under the influence of marijuana remains illegal.

The eclipse is a big dud so for

The eclipse is a big dud so for

So the eclipse is a BIG DUD so far here and at the coast. I went into East Portland today and everything was dead. Highways and freeways were clear. Empty gas stations, empty stores, empty bars. I even went to WinCo which I never do on a Sunday, and it was nearly empty. The clerks there said that it had been dead all day, which it never is on Sunday. No one is going anywhere or buying anything, so the stores, bars gas stations and everything else is going to be overstocked with supplies this week.

The news tonight says its the same at the coast. No throngs of people there. Stores, bars, and restaurants overbought in anticipation. Looking online they say that vendors are waiting for the throngs of people to show up in Madras. No throngs there yet. Many business are closed tomorrow wanting to avoid the predicted insanity. ODOT, the OLCC and the media completely OVERSOLD this event with hysterical predictions, and as a result no one is going anywhere or showing up in this state.
