It's deffo not the same as the legit ones.

The coffee doesnt come out until like after day 70.
I took one at 77 once and it was the most coffee but I felt a little less potency.
At 70 its super loud, soury with lemon and coffee battling in the background.

XXX OG isn't a pure OG

Probably why you are getting different smells from it.

Any real pure OG I've had is slightly lemony, pinesol, funk.

i'm gonna lean towards either time to replace the seal or did not properly clean jar and lid. mason jars are for more than weed and they're airtight when used properly. when i'm curing the first few days the lid literally explodes off once i remove the ring they're so airtight.

Na I buy new jars each time so I know that's not it and as you can see the seal is clean. Like dank frank said some stuff is just too strong.

Second that. Gg#4, ghost og, and sfv all smell through jars and vacuum packs both. Leave some vac packed #s og glue in your car for a half hour if you don't believe it

I've found very little info and only Dankiestog and Nspecta have posted pics I can find . I'm curious about her taste /smell/ effects

Nspecta recently dropped Faux G purple , but I've not seen anyone else working with or growing this OG

the wayy gg4 made it into this thread is because i liked that shot of the SFV nug but it happened to have a little gg4 in the corner of the picture.
the only reason i even mentioned the gg4 was so people knew it wasn't the OG.

hey if that's what you wanna beleive imma let you run with that. but for your securitys sake i suggest you pump some iron and build your arm strength. people have reported jars exploding from the pressure buildup when using them to hold carbonated substances like beer. if you screw the lid on tight. the seal is airtight. for the record so we're all on the same page.

only the top jars will contain your weed smells. if you're using anything else and value your security. i suggest you smash those shits on the ground and go buy yourself some mason jars. they're like $8 a case of 12 at walmart and similar stores. i think they even sell em at grocery stores.

It's the combination of cooling of a hot liquid/substance that creates negative pressure inside the jar in conjunction with warming the plastic/rubber coating on the underside of the lid. This is what actually SEALS the jar. The screw down rim is not even necessary to hold a TRULY sealed/can product to safety standards, it's merely a fail safe if you drop the jar.

Unless you are using a hot water bath / pressure caner to ACTUALLY seal the jars - they ARE NOT air tight.

In fact, from their own website (.freshpreserving.com):

"The second most important thing you need to know is never use a lid twice. After the first use, the lid will no longer seal effectively, so a fresh lid must be used every time."

One thing ICmag has ALWAYS stood for is FACTUAL information. I respect your opinion and your right to it - but, when that opinion poses a security risk to other members...it quickly stops being about opinion - and becomes about FACTS.

Again, from their own webpage:

"Canning is really one step beyond cooking. It is a method that applies heat to food in a closed glass home canning jar to stop the natural spoilage that would otherwise take place, and removes air from the jar to create a seal. There are two home canning methods - Waterbath Canning and Pressure Canning."

Im going to sound a bit controversial here but i always store my harvests in what we call "tupperware" i always make sure its "food" grade. There are lots of different designs, some better than others. The ones with a good rubber seal and clamp-down lids seem to work very well. Iv had problems with glass jars "leaking" smell before.

like i said do as you like, i keep all my weed in mason jars and i've yet to be imprisoned. i even got pulled over speeding through georgia with a jar full of sour diesel right behind me. cop leaned into the passenger side and didn't feel the need to call any dogs and helicopters. so i stand by my statements. i didn't need to heat any jars and i reuse them all the time. if they are holding air and building pressure then i'm sure they will contain smells from dry weed that aren't even raising the pressure in the jar from humidity. i suggest you check the rubber coating on the sealing part of the lid, it might be time to replace it. i know you like to think you have the super smelliest weed ever that can travel through impermeable glass but that's not the case. you just have a leaky jar. take your super smelly weed out of the jar, fill it to the neck with coca cola, tighten it back up and shake it a few times upside down. you will probably see drips. this is why you can smell your weed through the jar.

#Sunglasses, your jars or anybody's jars are not air tight unless you let them in boiling water but this is only good for fruits or vegetables certainly not weed. Good for you the cop didn't smell it but it's not a proof your jar is air tight just a proof your weed didn't smell.
