im just doing coco, canna a and b plus additives


she kind of eats alot from my experience and is pretty sensitive to light , other then that just another plant in the garden..she forsure likes her calmag 2!

Could it be that the increased lighting is causing the plants to use more nutrition, so therefore you should be feeding more to keep up with increased growth rate potential?

Yes I took that into account before I've fed at a higher rate and still had problems, the buds on my deathstar just wouldn't grow and looked dudded out as soon as I turned it down they stopped yellowing and stretching out and went back to normal , the og was really just yelloing and was super hungry early on.
My other strains had more serious problems and couldn't withstand the intensity, either way this is my last run in coco and in an apartment, I have switch to a living soil and my test run has been the easiest healthiest plants I've grown. More og at day 40

Adam and Mitch had no idea he was full of shit aswell , so there's no reason to be upset with them ..... We all get to go back to having fun

Anyone know what causes this ? When a plant has some branches that "dud" . Weirdest thing ever. Have seen it on ogs and sours. Don't know if it happens to other plants. Have also seen plants next to each other that were taken from same mother same batch, one right next to the other one perfect the other no smell , no shine, and have seen it happen on the same plant like scoots one branch lovely another "dudded" out.. Any conclusions or theories to this? Anyone else seen this before?

It was a second generation clone from the seed mother, grown in a hot room like 90F for most of its life, all colas fine apart from second to lowest branch dudded hard, no smell, hardly any trichs. All other branches are fine.

Very strange! I was wondering if anyone came to a solid conclusion as to the cause of this kind of dudding, have heard it happens to ghost, and I grew a TK I thought was fake but looking back, it was as if the entire thing dudded.

i think that happened to my ghost last round too, she looked pretty but lacked hard in the terp department!

i got 2 chiesel clones next to each other coming down in 9 days one smells devine and the other has dudded along with gg4, basically no smell at all!

I put it down to heat stress as i've really been struggling with my temps with gavita's in tents. next round im losing the tents and building a proper room so i've got more headspace.

Interesting it has happened to chiesel, I hope it is related to heat stress as that'll put my mind at ease. As I said my temps were far hotter than ideal throughout, like yours.

I just hope whatever it is didn't "infect" your chiesel, spreading from your ghost or gg4.

when you say dudded, do the duds look the exact same as the normal plants? except they just dont have any smell/taste?
or do the duds look different as well?

I just started growing out a couple OGs recently, and i really hope i dont get any duds. im trying to prepare myself for the possibility though, and edjumacate myself on what to look for..

Bet u guys are onto something with the heat being a major cause for dudding.. I think its nothing more than fungal pathogens brought on by hot mediums and bugs that thrive in that environment . Cuz that would be ideal for all the fulsariums and verticillums n pythiums etc.. Makes sense to me anyhow.. Only time ibe ever seen dud like growth is when i had hot rooms and pests like fungus gnats

Yeah the plants look exactly the same yet the dudded buds have very faint smell and very faint resin. They also appear slightly more hairy compared to the normal buds.

Hope it is a heat thing.

Fire is 100% real deal old School OG and the Berkley looks like the best cut I have ever got my hands on...

Fire had some Duds to sort through.... Tahoe cut I had Dudded hard as fuck....

Berkley is Nematode resistant .... Track this cut down in SoCal and swoop it up... its amazing

I treated all my cuts for nematodes....and the healthy ones are flawless and have already been cloned and mothered out...

Once some cuts go full DUD...the effects are irreversible

I'm curious, do u attribute all dudding to stem nematodes? Or just in cases similar to yours?

With all these duds and talk of stem nematodes surely someone found a positive result in order to confirm their existence as opposed to speculating on their existence?

It's expensive as hell and its new to the boards and honestly I don't know that many people at all that feel confident to use labs. I've done it only a few times and it was s rigmarole.

The duds ive seen in rooms were caused by fungus gnats.. They are spreading many viruses these days. And larvae tear up roots can even boar into stems, thats where u get the sick branches..

People should really read up on what they can do.. They are even spreading streak viruses and thats the one alot of folks have now.. Good luck. N keep reading.. But dont buy into "duds" or broad mites so quickly.. Most times,, simple fungus gnats..
