Page Views? Are you for real? Why are you so hell bent on turning people attention away from what they are interested in and so determined to bash this strain at any given chance? Were you sold some og kush for $80 and it wasn't worth $20? Did you grow out an S1 thinking it's the real deal and were truly dissapointed? Or is it a more private matter like did og kush bend you over and fuck you and forget to pay? What the FUCK????

I'm sick and tired of all these people telling us what strains we should be interested in and what strains we should be starting threads about. I have a thread about my og grow and it sucks ass compared to this one because of the camera I'm using at the moment, and still I get at least 5 a day. It doesn't bother me none, but I can see how it would bother some. Can't you? Stick to your dirt weed and threads about regular run of the mill garbage strains that are available to any schmuck with $50 and a safe address. What a joke....

Original OG KUSH from HUMBOLDT circa late '70's

I lived in Northern Cal in the early '80's ('80-'81) going to college, met these botanists from Humboldt county, I told them I was taking botany as well as an elective just for extra credits, they realized that I was a good gardner from all the beautiful house plants in my apartment...I also told them that I was in the Army overseas,and I traveled to various countries including Morroco, Holland...etc...I told them stories of little boys with 1 pound size chunks of hashish for sale to the tourists it was low quality, but still about 10% thc... Anyway these botanists said that they would give me a cutting of this Gov't Gold Seal Afghani strain that they had a hard time trying to root...so I did my thing an presto! They said that when it was bigger to take another cutting and give them back the original cutting, so I did and here it is 23 yrs later and it almost died 3 different times thru the years.....I still have 2 cutting mothers .....1 is flowering...and then I harvest some MONSTER KILLER NUGS!!!! ...then put it back into veg mode and have kept it going for 23 yrs....also my other Purple Khyber Afghani mother strain started from seed in 1986 is 19 yrs old, been regenerating it all these years.....these strains are adapted to the latitude 36 degrees...look on a world globe at this latitude and the countries are prime KUSH Growing regions....GEEZ there's Afghanistan, the Hindu Kush region, Kashmir..etc..high altitude combind with high UV light those bushes are oozing with resin to protect them from the INTENSE UV (for every 1000' the UV is 4 degrees more intense) also if u have a 2000' above sea level and combined with hot dry arid weather this OG KUSH GUSHES with resin..... Northern Calif has beautiful weather also, but to much moisture in the air,which make for BIG bushes, but here the OG is smaller but, with more intense resin production...humidity 40% or less....and over 100 degree weather...Yeah babyyyy!!!

well i feel ya nspecta but i can easily attest to the authenticity of the cut i know first hands it was the real deal og kush ogic had. i smoked the buds and let me tell you it was screaming pinesol lemon fuel just like some of the better og's here in the sfv.. you could see the extreme similarities with the sfv ogk... just my .02 too bad we will never see now as he is gone.

And yes what swerve smoked wasnt even a Good batch! It was honestly the worst batch ive seen from OGICMAG and it still full of power and flavor!

Here's a question fer ya...should I/We believe BudZad7 who brought OGKush down thar from Humboldt back in tha early 80's...or should I believe OGIC whose wife was just "given" OGKush back in '83...or howabout ...should I believe OGKush is an S1 ChemDawg or sumthing to that effect...???

Regardless if it's been around for 25 years or 25 minutes it doesn't matter. It's the real deal. Who cares where, when , how, or who he got it from? Since when does a strain get named after a member on a forum? I'm seeing more and more of that. If someone named bastard gets a hold of the real deal og and starts passing out to members of the forum, it become's known as bastard's cut. When all he did was continue to grow it. The member had no role in the breeding process whatsoever. A clone is just that...A CLONE! Meaning if given the same conditions, it will pretty much be a duplicate of the mother plant. Different conditions get you slightly different looking plants as well as buds. Still the same genes lying underneath. Nothing was done to the strain. So why are all these bastards getting credit? lol
