Hey Kaotic,
I've smoked her last summer, an outdoor patio grow and was amazed by the quality of the bud - I hope this is half as good - one 85w bulb will not compare to the sun me thinks!
Friendly competition??? you have 50% more grow space and 130% more light AND 10 plus years growing experience!!!! I wonder will your results reflect the advantages you have?
You have built your cab with 1sq inch under the maximum and you are 2 watts under the maximum and you are complaining about a couple of grams of trich laden sugar leaves!
You really are taking this as a friendly competition. lol

Ok girls settle down shit looks dank dabbler and way to go on your first indoor harvest your the first one to go down under the official weights on the first page too

Blynx hows shit going and what happen to that second row did you pull them out one pic has 9 the other has 6 just wondering

Kaotic whats up with your girls hope the doing better than mine

update on my little ladies i had watering problems with the new mix but their coming back just moved them under the 70w HPS and two 26w 6500K CFLs they seem to be happy now hopefully im going to start flowering in the next 2 weeks

Girls are doing fine. Mother is coming along. I should be able to take my cuts next week. If I can't I have seedlings to go in.

Ok so I'm starting week 4 of flower with my SR71 PK Bonsai and she's looking greener now after a dose of Grow Big and then back to the chart feeding which is 2tsp TigerBloom 1tsp GrowBig in weeks 3 & 4 of flowering I know it's supposed to be 2tsp GB but I feel that may burn the girl so far she's looking great and kicking out more frost that my last few pk's!!! I think it's the 5100K 27w I have in the middle cuz she's smelling sweeter to I think a wider range of cannabanoids and terpines are being produced do to it being closer to sunlight, we'll see in the next few weeks... I should have pics up in a while I still need batteries

Not sure what you mean, all the pics I posted have 9 plants in them.

If you are talking about the latest cab shot, there are 9 plants in there. I rotate the rows each week. Each week the front row goes to the back (where the small ones are now), middle row goes to the front and back row moves to the middle.

I'm brand new to the site and trying to get enough posts to join the Autoflower Club. Just built my cab in January and sprouted some old variety beans and have them under 3x27 watt 6500K lights, 24/7. Will shortly go to 12/12. Plan is for a single female scrog grow. Been lurking this site for months and am grateful for the fine education!

Glad to see you here.

Do you have any pics of your grow?

Haven't figured out the pics part yet...I'll get busy though and post soon. Learned an awful lot from Mr. Micro!

Blynx your method looks insane! My cab is 13" x 13" x 20' tall. I will probably rebuild after this first run to go SOG. Obviously need more height but was thinking SUPER STEALTH at the time. Pictures of my first style will follow.

This will actually be my second time at indoor growing. I tried an attic run in Florida with warm and cool 40 watt tube florescents about 10 years ago. Between the high temps and humidity, mold and mites, smell coming out of the eaves, gross paranoia, and every other negative thing except a direct meteorite strike...the grow failed. My wife even called the bug man 'cause she saw a roach ( a real roach not a spent joint) while I was at work. I drove home at about 100 MPH to intercept the dude before he went up to my attic to look around but lucky for me my wife came to her senses and sent the guy down the road. Whew!
Thank GAWD I'm on a much more high tech grow adventure now. Time will tell.

It's a start! The blue rubbermaid tub has no bottom and slides up and over the cab. The cab sits next to a garage refrigerator which covers the noise from the computer fans really well. The beans have just begun to pop and I'll go 12/12 soon after.

Nice cab!

I like the stealthy rubbermaid cover.

Does it restrict airflow out of the cab? Do you keep it on all the time? or just when you need to hide it?

I keep the rubbermaid over the cab all the time...the toilet flange for the exhaust fits through a hole in the tub so the warm air doesn't get sucked back in. I'm sure most of the warm air goes up. I also have a 5' x 15' rectangle cut out of the back to allow fresh air to enter the passive intakes. Averaging about 68 to 80 degrees in a cold garage in winter. I can adjust the fan(s) speed with the dc converters to keep everything in a good temperature range. I may vent into the wall behind the tub at some time and may also connect the passive intake through the drywall to the air conditioned room on the other side of the garage wall. See how the exhaust fits the hole? I haven't had this much fun in years and this community is really a lift in a truly weird period in history.

Nice! I was wondering if you were doing something like that on the backside of the tub.

When you say adjust the fan speed with DC converters, do you mean you have a couple DC converters that output different voltages so the fans run slower or faster?

G

Gr8fulDen

Yeah...that's what I mean. Seems to work for now... if I pay attention to the Weather Channel for the daily temps and play with the switches I can keep the cab close to optimum.

Hahaha thanks man it's coming along pretty nice, starting to get the good ol grape smell it's famous for and producing more resin that my previous attempts. I just hope to get over 10g off her and I'll be happy...
