The Official 1 sqft Challenge

I want to try this challenge but unfortuantely my sq ft box is a clone box. I'm tired of regular CFL's so i bought a new ballast and 4 18w PL-L's. My box is a 11x11x11 cube so flowering would be mighty hard.

This is the best picture of it i have and its real old...The sockets are sperated more now and i have computer fans in there. Just waiting on the new lighting.. I just realized how much light your wasting with a spiral CFL, you can acheive much better penetration with PL-L's.

Pretty close... an 11"x16"x18" cab. 108 watts CFL. Two lowryder2's at partial harvest gave up 170 wet grams. He's probably looking at 70% of the yield. We'll see!

I have an odd result to contribute with. Grew four NLxC99 in a PC case and ended up with three females.
The plants got shocked somewhere in mid flower, and had a lot of other problems, so flowering time almost doubled. This is my second grow that made it to harvest, so I don't have enough experience to put my finger on exactly why the plants were so late.

22 Watts of high quality LEDs, supposedly good soil, and in flower HESI bloom complex every watering (ouch, I know.)

Got 38 grams dry, so that's 60grams/sqft.

I thought I'd throw a couple pics of the current run in my 1sq ft cfl cab.

I didn't document the 5th round and not really documenting this one too much, but maybe more later on.

This round I actually vegged the plants for a week before flipping the lights to 12/12. I also had to do a lot of super-cropping to train them. I expect to continue this for another couple weeks since they are only 16 days into flower at this point.

I'm growing four strains this time, one plant in each container. The strains are; catpiss, chesaw, shire & sour creek.
