you want a fan with high cfm's..Delta, Sunon , Scythe are all excellent fans..The fan has to able to suck out all that hot air so higher cfm's the better... if you do some searching via internet(if you can, if not go to computer stores in your town) you will find many 10 bucks or cheaper..I did..
My fan is 151cfm and my pc case has 161 watts in it and the fan works great(its a Delta by the way)my temps are a steady 77-79 which is nice...

Check out the thread, Ventilation 101, it should be in the DIY threads

Hope this helped bro..:santa1:

How are you going to power your fan?
If its a 12 volt adapter, make sure the amp of the fan isn't higher than the amp of the adapter..ScrubNinja has a thread called ultimate beginners guide to pc fans too which might help you..
best of luck

Wet weights

Overall the yield went down a bit from the last run, but that was to be expected since two of the plants (the two masterlow crosses) were in there for breeding purposes.

I was very happy to see the high yield from the alibi x herijuana. I wish I had four of them ready to go cuz I think I could hit 2 oz dry in this setup with four alibi x herijuana.

looks nice blynx :D

i was doing the maths to see if i could get the 63 watt led unit into 1 sqft - and you just about can - but i went with 12x20 in the end.

what is the general change in weight between wet and dry weight? - you seem to have a good idea of what its going to weigh dry.

thanks

From previous grows in this cab the dry weight is about 27-28% of the wet weight.

I'm in with my Colombian Golds ;)

Specs:

Plant: 2x Columbian gold
Cab: 65cm x 60cm x 75cm (height)
Flowering period: 22-26 weeks
Watttage: 150W T-Neon
Veg.period: 0 days
Flowering period thuss far: 72 days.
Growing method: Scrog (main cola's cut out at 6th internode).

here are the plants now:

Still 12-14 weeks to go.
Lookin full and green.

Hopefully I can get more than 150g off it :).

Here are some pics of my 2 !real deal! Colombian Golds. On these pics they are already 9 weeks old. They've been under 12/12h ligt from seedling-stage.
They've not stretched to much, however they've continue to grow to this very day.

Notice it are only 2 plants. I've placed a Scrog-net to bind the plants to.
I've cut away the main cola at the 6th internode. This resulted in 5-6 new cola's on each plant.

They are different phenotypes. One is already in bloom, the other one is at pre-flowering stage and is even MORE sativa than the first one!

Check them out and tell me what you think. Am I the first one who challenged this plant in a micro-grow?

My grow cabinet is L, W, H, : 65-60-75

So only 40 cm effective room for the plants.

Notice the internodes are farely short because of the extra shot of blue light in the first 3 weeks of the 12/12h period.

The CG's haven't had any growing time, just straight under 12/12 in the flowering room.

Nuf said.

I'll update when more flowers appear ;).

hey chak-ra that looks nice - my cab is the same size with a 250 and i generally pull around 300 grams or more out of it. like me though im not sure you qualify for the sq ft challenge :D

blynx, i was wondering, have you ever tried to flower 9 plants that size in your cab?

what about page 1?

I think he's telling you to actually read this thread starting at page 1.

If you had, or had even noticed my sig that's in every post I make, you will see that I have already run 9 plants in here, twice.

hi blynx - no need to be like that - you misread my question,

i asked if you had tried to flower 9 plants that size in your cab. in the previous grows where you grew 9 plants they were much smaller.

i was suggesting you grew 9 plants where the yield from each plant averaged about a quarter oz like the ones above.

the colas on my square foot scrog screens come out at around a quarter each and i manage to squeeze 9-12 of them per square foot - so you can pack them in - whether they are sog or scrog doesnt have to effect that (although you do need good ventilation). i might be able to make some suggestions as to how you can increase your yield - that is if you are interested? - after all we are all here to learn from each other right :)

heres an example - UK cheese - just finished at day 68
top view - in the cab the buds get squashed together to the size of the screen by the other 3 plants

i have read the thread a while back, although i may have skimmed some of the bits where it just turned into an ego argument :D, im always interested in picking up tips from people who are committed to getting the max from their space

cheers
