I hope so. Unfortunately they seem to be viewing things as a point of no return, that freedoms were curtailed, Moses leading his people out of Egypt, etc.
That said, the forum was already in a state of flux. I'll be looking back over stickies this week and hopefully we can get things settled down around here.
I'm sorry if I've come off as a dick to anyone lately, there's been a lot to deal with in the past few days. As always, feel free to send me messages if you're having issues, you need something moved or anything moderator related here in organics or the general gardening forum. Remember that the things that unite us are more numerous than the things that divide.
OK, my amended soil mix (following FunTimesIndeeds thread) has been sitting for close to 8 weeks. I've soaked it down a couple times with an ACT and am hoping to use it soon. Is 8 weeks sufficient, or should I give it a while longer?
Once I've put some cuts in it, my plan is as follows:
I typically water/feed 3 times a week. For the duration of vegative growth, and the first couple weeks of flower I'm planning on using a coconut/aloe diluted mix once a week (1/2 cup of each per gallon?), an ACT (following Microbeman's and CT Guy's lead) once a week, and a molasses Pro-Tekt mix once a week.
Once budsites start to form I'm going to switch gears and cut out the ACT's and introduce some FPE's. I purchased some Comfrey seeds but those will obviously take some time before they are viable, so I'm a little uncertain on what I should be using during flower. I'm thinking the Protekt and molasses will have some usefulness throughout, not so sure on the coconut water and aloe though.....
Any thoughts on this?
As always, any feedback is appreciated. I'm sure you guys get sick of fielding these questions, but I do my best to research first before asking.
It always cracks me up a little...a site full of fuckin outlaws and it expects us to read the rules...right.
one thing comes to mind: don't plant those comfrey seeds. the recommended variety is bocking, which does not set (fertile) seed... if you are planting comfrey seed, it will take over your garden space, considered quite the nuisance
bear in mind that you will have a lot of nutrients in your soil from following these soil recipes ~1 good way to see if your mix is ready is to plant a test crop {clover can be a good choice ~you can just leave it as a living mulch}
i have done water only w/ micro-amending for fine results
i only use molasses for my compost tea and pro-tekt can be over-done ~it would seem since they both have K there's some risk of that
your coconut water, aloe, ACT plans will be just fine ~in fact; strategies to get living enzymes in there and get the biology going will be rewarded ~another fine choice is the barley sprout rinse
unless it's a plant a week or two from harvest, my plants really get all the same tea, feeding twice a week.
