"I have absolute proof that reality does not exist."

No absolute proof can exist in this scenario, given that there is no reality.

Along the lines of a person saying "I have"...meaning it pertains to a person perceiving something from a central person named "I."

But "I" doesn't exist and is only tied-off and looped portion of the universe that can self-perceive.

And so by me or "I" saying this, and without dealing with the true nature of reality or whether it's subjective or objective... the universe says this:

"Since I exist, I am here to say that. Since I say that, I must also exist."

You might have to wait a long long time Sam...some folks on this board will argue that the sun rises in the west and is a pretty shade of forest green, and won't be convinced otherwise till the phoenix rises again.

There is only one reality, all others are illusion.
We share in the reality, you might think we are sharing another reality but that is because you refuse to accept one reality.
Absolutes are part of the one reality.
As for:
"We are here, and it is now, and we are experiencing. This is enough proof that it exists."
Sure, proof that some people are so blinded by their ego they can't see the nature of reality which I called a Myth.
Now please leave my thread like I did yours, you can manifest your truth and your reality in your thread, and leave mine alone.

"Absolute proof that reality does not exist cannot be proven in this secondary reality that we all share. We can only communicate in "relative" terms in this shared reality."

Is this an absolute proof or truth, or does it change?
Whenever anyone says something does not change I have my doubt's, like when they claim multiple realities.
So are you implying that absolute proof can be proven in your so called primary reality? Or just avoiding the simple truth that there is only one reality and it is a myth?
Oh and btw, I had no idea you were the same person from breeding ethics, until you told me, I guess what ever you posted there rubbed me the wrong way kinda like your reality post.
It is obvious this is not how you are, it is how you post.
But it is still part of the one big reality.
If you had zero ego, or aspired to be ego-less, I suspect you would have not posted in this thread, but you knew that, correct?

You might have absolute proof, but you can only prove it to yourself.

Absolute proof that reality does not exist cannot be proven in this secondary reality that we all share. We can only communicate in "relative" terms in this shared reality.

Absolutes are NOT a part of this secondary reality.

And plus, you haven't made the distinction of "what" reality you are talking about, the primary reality, or the secondary reality.

If you are talking about the primary reality, about Consciousness itself, then there's nothing to prove, since the nature of Consciousness is nothing.

If you are talking about this secondary reality which we are all perceiving with our in-direct senses, then you will not prove that this doesn't exist either, because you, and everyone else experiences this reality. The fact that it is in-direct doesn't mean anything.

We are here, and it is now, and we are experiencing. This is enough proof that it exists.

Not quite, I already let it go before you posted, if I was ever holding on to it, which I was not.
I guess I now need to let this post go?

hello Sam,

what's your definition of Myth when you say that Reality is a Myth?

are you by any chance referring to mythopoesis?

is reality mythological or mythical? :D

peace!

if reality is a myth, how is science, the measure of absolute reality around born of us?

through our myth(s) we have uncovered truth and absolutes

just because our perceptions are individual and vary doesn't mean we aren't exposed to the same matter in the universe, it is not that haphazard or chaotic

it is easiest described in this analogy

a man is in Australia and a man in in the US. they both look up. they both are subject to a universal truth, when they look up they see sky. They are both subject to relative truths, one looks up and sees night, one looks up and sees day.

their differences and likeness in perception has to do with the geometry and dimension of the earth they live upon (and the universe they live within)

our individual realities are skewed in a like manner, as there are multiple dimensions or factors that dictate the "angle of attack" our reality is perceived upon

this is the bias of EGO (the influence of our own being couple by the totality of life experience) on our perception

our realities synch well enough together that we have science, and can build societies, we enjoy the benefits of the accuracy of those shared realities right here on the internet they created

the totality of the universe is immortal in comparison to our lives, we cant be expected to have anything but a relative perspective and thus a relative reality

the fact that we share so much of the same in our own individual realities is proof that they are in fact relative, relative to our limited mortality and our time and place in space

the ultimate reality upon which we experience is hosted by the immortal universe which is bigger than us, has alot more going on than we will understand in any one lifetime.

To think that because we aren't capable of understanding it verbatim invalidates our perception of it is the part that simply does not compute.

if all our realities were exactly the same we would all be the universe and not individuals within

Must be a riddle, one reality, meh.

Two coins add up to 30 cents, one of them is not a nickle.

Good stuff, but I give up.
