the Mexican Landraces Thread

Hey. A mexican here, if You guys like mexican landraces take a flight yo Oaxaca, then a bus yo San José del Pacífico o San Mateo Rio Hondo, beautiful small villages in the middle of the mountains with spectacular landscapes.

you can still find traditional sativas, verdelimon, morada oaxaqueña etc. collect some seeds. and smoke excellent landrace hash that some Italians taught the locals how to make. with the plus that in rains the forest is filled with magic mushrooms.

Oaxaca is one of the few places where the big cartels have not monopolized the crop and are used to receiving international hippies, with which they would be supporting peasant families.

I say this because I have seen many supposed Mexican landraces, which do not seem so.

and by the way you can go to the beach, it is halfway between the city of Oaxaca and Mazunte.
Got any pictures of the weed and hash? Would be cool to see.

And are you sure about the directions to the beach? Seems like you'd end up in Miahuatlán de Porfirio Díaz. A mile high and a hundred miles from the shore.

Chiapas? A beautiful state, but when it comes to cannabis, it doesn't have much to offer compared to other states. It has landraces, for example the "Chamula" a pure sativa, which is sold by the Tzotzil Indians of the town of... Chamula... surely if you grow it yourself it will be of better quality, it is not bad in taste, lemony. although it is marketed full of seeds, and it is not as potent compared to other Mexican sativas. but yes, it is pure Mexican sativa. The Chamulas have been sowing the same seeds for several decades, protected by a certain autonomy. It is the one that is most easily achieved in San Cristobal de las Casas.

you can take the bus in the city of Oaxaca, it charges you about 80 pesos. It is a trip with many curves and changes in altitude, so be prepared, basically it is halfway between Miahuatlán and Pochutla, just tell the driver to drop you off in San Jose. The hash is pretty good and cheap if you know who, around 20 pesos a g. I have no photos now surely on google you can find. Most Europeans agree that it is comparable to the best you can find in Europe.

Hi. On page 96 I showed a photo of Jarilla Sinaloa during the 2nd week of flowering. Now Jarilla has 9 weeks of flowering.
Unfortunately, she lost large leaves because I confused calcium deficiencies with microelements deficiencies.

Jarilla has an amazing lemon smell. I like this smell because lemon is the only terpen that this plant has. There is no smell of earth, woody, musk, skunk. Only lemon. Love it.

^^ I grew out a couple Copper Canyon plants, was warned it could be scary stuff. The initial high was not scary but after an hour I did get paranoid. I figured it was being outside after midnight. Smoked both plants and it kept happening. Never had a high that got scary on the comedown of the high.

It was a very fast flowering strain for me.

Hey yesum Thanks for the info:tiphat:I couldn't taste well my cut when was selected, was a seed round, but I remember that the effect vaping was cerebral, with a very special drop. Without a doubt shes very fast, the plant in the photo has 38 days of flowering. And it seems that in crossings she provides this quality, at least that's what I see in the short time that I've been "working" the strain

I heard the same about Cooper Canyon from other folks, can be a scary stuff... So the cross with Destroyer must give some individuals which can even be dangerous for many smokers

Lol who cares if it ain't "pure" it's coming from Mexico its Mexican weed fat leaf or skinny all of a sudden only you gringos can breed with cannabis and sell indica and indica dominant hybrids?
I have many different types im pretty sure I will find fat, skinny , long and fast flowering and everything in between and this obsession with acquiring the seeds In mexico is strange to me. How many people are planning to go on a vacation in mexico to "collect seeds"? Most would rather sit at home and order something

Check this out I just got it it barely has any seed and I thought maybe its better stronger than usual because the very few seeds is a tell that they know what their doing......yes it's a good one I get really high but its short lived fortunately I have 3 oz to experiment with.
